The comedian in question is me. I am Nick Mortensen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Mortensen#Biography). I was asked to shoot a special this year and I did a test show in April - which I've got up at my youtube page (http://www.youtube.com/nickmortensen). I've got a longer riff about the website Abbywinters.com that I did at the test show that did make it into my special; "Nick Mortensen: Living Up to the Hype", which should come out onto DVD in the fall of 2009.

I am ramping up the publicity in the meantime- so I thought I'd give you guys all a look at the test show. If anyone has any interesting points or questions, please do reach me

If you do watch- will you comment? The AbbyWinters.com bit is in the video entitled "Nick Mortensen: Living Up to the Hype Warmup gig" .

Can I be the official comedian of AbbyWinters.com? Will the models become my fan club? I could sure use some help promoting thie when it comes out- I am moving away from comedy into a unique sort of motivational speaking/comedy hybrid which has me attempting to reframe the prevailing opinion on Attention Defecit hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) which most people don't consider to be a real afflicton- but I can tell you absolutely is. There are a lot of people out there suffering from some crippling self esteem defecits and ADHD is the direct cause.

It is an issue hiding in plain sight and harnessing it can make all the difference in the world- When I began reading my first book on ADHD, I was just an open mic level comedian- wthin 100 days, I was headlinging Theaters. Withing a year- I was asked to create my own special. Everything changed for me when I started to understand it and I now realize that books are not where they information on ADHD should be kept- ADHD people tend to procrastinate about reading them.

I talk about it daily on my radio show "The Unified Scene With Nick Mortensen" on rootsupradio.com (http://www.rootsupradio.com/TheLineUp/TheUnifiedScenewithNickMortensen/tabid/123/Default.aspx) - which airs from 12-1 pm in the Central Standard Time Zone.

A filthy comedian who knows what is inside the books stands a much better chance of informing people abut ADHD. Supporting this is going to help a lot of people get a grip on what has been troubling them for a long time. I hope you'll find it worthwhile.
