I have been thinking of other ways that aw.com can make money. One idea:

Outside the US of A, content distribution on mobile devices is a big trend. Have you investigated other channels? I heard that porn on mobile phones is a big market in Japan for example.

I understand aw.com is hosted in the USA - I guess because most of your members are from the US. I'd be interested to know the rough member distribution by country.

It may even be worthwhile doing a Japanese version of the site. Same models, Japanese text and prices in Yen. Perhaps you could find a Japanese partner who can do the localization and share the risk.

That's not a bad idea in theory. In practise, around 87% of my customers are from the US. The rest are from all over, tho Germany, Netherlands, and the UK make up a fair bit. Some Australians, the rest, all sortsa countries.

I'd think that a German version of the site might be more suitable than a japanese one.
