What next?

As most of the regulars here know, we're always keen to hear feedback from members on how they think we could make the site better. aw.com has been built on good ideas from members, and could not be where it is today without them.

There's a fine line for me to walk: I want the site to grow and get better, but I'd like to see the business make a profit as well. Currently, every single cent the site earns is put back into it (I am not drawing a wage). It'll stay like that for at least the next year, and longer if you guys keep thinking up new challenges for me!

Over the next few months, we hope to be in a position to add some significant new stuff to the site, for the same price.

I'd like to get ideas from you guys what YOU think would be the best thing for us to concentrate on. Once this thread as run for a while on the boards, I'll put up a survey with a top five (or top ten) list of possible changes or additions, and let members vote on the most suitable one. If there's a clear "winner", we'll develop that area.

I don't mind "pie in the sky" ideas, this is the place for a bit of a brain-storm. It'll be fun, and productive.

One idea that worked really well, and that I hope to use more was Artful's: take a picture of my assistant, Susie (you can see her on the site), with each model, so you get an idea of models heights. It's fun to see (samples over at http://www.abbywinters.com/discus/messages/3/237.html?1004356540), free, and easy for me to do.

So, I'll get the ball rolling, first, possible things to pursue within the next six months:

o add two new models to the site each week, instead of one
o narrative based video; perhaps some kinda serial (!?), or short vignettes
o higher quality video, VHS quality at least
o consider shooting hetro couples (hardcore?)
o shoot more "pretty" models (Ally-esque), less not-so-pretty
o develop the gold area more (more content, more often)

What do you reckon? Got any other ideas?

I can't believe you're bringing up the possibility of 2 models per week! Yes, yes, yes, it's what I've wanted all along.
I worry though that it will be too expensive or too timeconsuming for you -- so I was hoping for 5 posts/week, maybe every other week a second new model. Six new models per month would be wonderful!

I think your Gold idea is tremendous, both in terms of helping out your bottom line, and also in terms of the content. I've gotten off on virtually every candid photo you've shown us (oooh, he's a voyeur!) and can't wait for more. Lot's more. The models lounging around in their sundresses would be great. (I like voyeur pictures, like upskirts and downblouses, but that's not important.)

One idea I've brought up before is the "megapic". One picture that is twice the size in each dimension as your regular pictures. If it's a full-body shot, it's a voyage of discovery -- there is the right breast, scroll down, there's the tummy, scroll down... -- and if it's a closeup, you're right inside! The few of these huge pics I've seen, I've liked... but none of them had models as nice as Abby's.

The candid, voyeur, and big pic stuff are nice, but IMHO you should concentrate on adding content -- 5 posts/week, a couple of them with a second new model per week. BTW, what you've been doing with the bonus posts -- doubling up two posts in one day -- is fine. Doesn't have to be 5 different days.
Second priority - more candid and g/g stuff for the Gold section.

You'll notice I said nothing about the video and hetero stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing what Abby could do with a hetero sequence (my guess is that her pics would be better than I've ever seen before, like her g/g pics), and I like VD's videos, but for me neither are as important as the pics of pretty girls.

OK, now I get to disagree. I don't find the "not so pretty" models particularly interesting, nor am I interested in seeing some other male's genitals -- stick with the women.

Higher quality video would be great, as would a second mdel per week (less chance of a week or two being totally uninteresting). The "Gold" site sounds great. One thought would be to expand the "fetish" aspect of the site -- you have some content already. Things that come to mind are more use of "toys" or maybe some light bondage (Ally tied to the bed -- oh my gosh!)?

The two models a week thing is fantasy currently. I really would like to do it, but I am wary of comitting to it, then noting being able to keep it up. Obviously, it pretty much doubles the weekly running expense of the site (more new material = more downloads, as well!).

I am more leaning towards "three new models each fornight", something like that, which is more practical. I am against adding them when I feel like it, as that will just get more people complaining it does not happen more often (like the bonus updates thing; Tamara this week).

The MegaPic thing is happenning, when I remember(!) to shoot them, and as you allude, they will be part of the Gold section.

Uppiung to five regular updates a week is more realistic, and likely to happen regardless of what we decide here, within a month or two. That'd be one new model (two days), and three updated models. It's possible I'll add that kinda stuff to the Gold section, but unlikely... I don't wantr to take TOO much away from the "base" site.

I'd like to start by saying that I think this is one of the best sites I've been too. The picture quality is great and also the variety of girls you shot is fantastic. Not everybody want's to see these flawless girls that most other sites shoot. The type of girls I like to see are your averages one that you would see walking down the street(short,tall,skinny,plump,beautiful,not-so beautiful). With that being said, really the only thing that I would like to see changed on the site is the way the updates are done. Instead of spreading out 1 set of a girls photos over a week long period why not have fewer updates but post a complete set of the girl instead of 50 pics one day 50 pics two days later...., you get the idea. Other than that I think the site is grat and can't wait to see some of these new models.

I think you're missing a potential GOLDMINE. I'm referring to women who are more mature. The older woman appeals to a certain portion of the population, well at least to me. http://www.abbywinters.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif I would love to see photos of the quality that I have become accustomed to from your site of women who are more mature, I agree with the age range that Sneezely gave or even older. I do truly enjoy your current content but think that the additional variety of an occasional older woman would be highly interesting. I'm particularly wanting to see how this would go because your Cannon tends to soften yet display high fidelity in colors, subtle lighting variations, proportions, etc. I think these properties, not to mention your knack for capturing great poses would render an unsurpassed photo set of an older lady. Some folks consider wrinkles unattractive, I'm not in that camp by the way. A woman with some wrinkles has been engaged in life, she has smiled, frowned etc. and this represents some aspects of her character. Well enough of my philosophy! Just this final thought. I regret not being able to see how your techniques would render a more mature lady. Please Abby, please consider giving this a try someday. Again, thanks for allowing us to voice our opinions.

I personally wouldnt mind seeing the models maybe play with their hair and switch styles around during a shoot. Take some pics with hair up, hair down, ponytail(s), in a bun...etc. Just to mix it up...because a girl can look dramatically different based on the way she is styling her hair.

Also, I would be for anything that enabled you to keep costs down. I was interested in this site at first for high quality for low cost and didnt mind not as many updates as larger sites. This is the first site that has retained my membership for over two months...and thats because its affordable. I feel like I am definately getting my money's worth. So, I'm for keeping the prices modest rather than gobs of updates that would run your costs up.

Plus...I think that more behind the scenes stuff would be great. And, although the choice in music in the videos is superb (I even thought I heard some Kraftwerk during one...which took me by surprise), I say ditch it. I agree with Sneezely...I'd rather hear the girls talking/joking/laughing.

One of the things that appeals most to me is the stripping. Very few if any sites bother with a coherent strip sequence starting full length fully clothed to full frontal naked. So called strip sequences are often not only out of sequence but also incomplete. Would it be possible to have the models strip from differing outfits? Everyday outfits are fine, perhaps even uniforms again ;0) Maybe as part of your loyalty programme? Wouldn't add too much to costs would it?

This is certainly a thing I can never get enough of!

Abby personally the main reason I ever signed up for this site was the type of girls featured on it ie not stunning models, but more your girl next door type. If I want really pretty women (pics which I find boring) I'll buy Playboy. AW gives us amateur pics of girls we could meet in the street, that's what I paid for and that's what I'll continue to pay for.

Hetro pics do little for me, I guess I like oral pics but that's about as far as it goes. The GG pics are hard to beat and I think I speak for almost every guy on the planet when I say that's what we want to see the girls doing.

Narrative videos I see as a waste of your time and frankly not an enhancement which would benefit the site. As other members suggested, I like the idea of real time noise, just hearing the models talk or wotever would be excellent.

Can I just say again, a big thank you for putting this board in place and giving members what they want, I have never been to another site like this, keep up the good work.

PS - older women, I love them too, I agree it's avenue worth exploring but not necessarily over indulging in.
