Hey People!
First of all i should probably introduce myself, i go by the name of verity.you can check me out in the new shower scene, im the one with the terrible tan lines, nice white bum!
they are the left-overs from a nice long holiday in thailand.Sun, sea, sand and, um,... wots the last one?! anyway, i wont get started on that, otherwise i'll babble on and on, and eventually get depressed about not being on the amaizing beaches anymore.
Enough about me for now, how's everyone going these days?
i'd love to hear from you guys, what you think about the scene, any comments/ suggestions, im open to everything and everyone. Or if you simply want to chat, feel free to write

Please tell us a bit more about yourself. How did you find the shoots? How were the other girls to *work* with?

I Would like to comment but am still gasping for air. Good show ladys. Personally I like tanlines. Brown body and white bunns give a great contrast. At lkeast we know now that the Thai community didn't have a free lunch as far as your bum is concerned. Wow it is great to belong to the AW community.

Great to have you on board! Is Abby trying to assemble one of the most attractive offices in the whole of Australia, what with Jamie and now yourself! I just hope that, like Jamie on her 'Jamie Days' thread, you will be able to post the occasional pic of yourself in the office/goofing off etc. "Check me out" is actually a pretty good name for your own thread on the boards but be sure to let us know if another is set up in your honour.

I'm pretty sure you are already becoming a favourite. Certainly I enjoyed the shower shoot (4 girls all wet! are you kidding?) and feel privileged to have seen four such lovely girls in the showers (no doubt a subject of many male and some female fantasies, including mine). But back to the subject, you looked just fantastic in the shoot and more than hold your own with those three other (admittedly!) very sexy girls.

When Abby posted the samples of all the new models there were tons of new girls to look through. Even though almost all of them were fantastic (Jamie and co seem to rarely ever make a mistake, she just has the eye for spunky/interesting/funny girls!), there are always one or two that you especially are looking forward to seeing. Got to say you were among the girls posted that I couldn't get out of my head. Now I have seen how good you look in the shower shoot, your solo set and the set you did with Sue will be two of my most anticipated ones to see.

Sorry to hear about having to come back from Thailand but we all feel that way after a lovely holiday. Believe me you have it lucky, you live in beautiful Australia where summer and the warmer weather will soon be on the way. Imagine what its like for us Brits, coming back from a lovely summer holiday to a nice downpour of rain. Mind you I do miss the sense of humour etc here, so there is a positive about coming home.

Did you enjoy the shower shoot, take you back to your schooldays? And how do you like Sue, in terms of both personality and her body? Well questions, questions and more questions but I'd love to know! We haven't had much of a chance to chat with the models on the board, so I have to say that you are going to be a breath of fresh air! Maybe it will even give Jamie a chance to post more often.

What are you going to be doing for Abby? (aside from sitting around and looking fabulous!) Does Abby's staff have any weird initiation rituals that you had to go through? Is Vid Dude comering in the corner, afraid to accidentally hit the estrogen button?

About the four girls shoot:

I think you are adorable! Fantastic tan lines, nice bum and great enthusiasm! You really are a great addition to the site and staff, a real representative of what makes this site so great. I am curious, in light of your four girls and shoot with Sue, who was the best kisser? Was one of the models more attractive to you than the others? Was the water cold? Did you accidental grab someone else's bikini? Did you have fun?

As far as suggestions go, the only thing I could offer is to just be yourself. You really seem like a cool chick to hang out with, and you certainly are easy on the eyes.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. Don't feel obligated to answer all my questions, though I'm always curious to hear about a model's experience at AW.com.

wow, i must admit i wasnt expecting such a quick response from you guys. this has really made my day!!! thanks for all the lovely comments, you have left me abit speechless, but im more than flattered.
as you know by now, ive just joined AW and co...lucky me. its great to be part of the team and its such a cool company.its alot fun here.
i have been assisting with some of the photo shoots, i get to meet lots of the models, chat with them and i try to make them as realxed as possible before they get naked!
its great getting to meet new people everyday, chatting with them about allsorts and life in general. i learn alot of other people, its great.

As for the shower scene, what can i say, ive never had so much fun in my life.
I dont recall ever having that much fun at school, after sports lessons we were all supposed to wash, but we would usually just wet our hair and pretend that we'd showered, we were all so shy about get naked around each other.
this time was abit different, we couldnt wait to get our bathers off!
the only annoying thing was when the hot water started running out, cold showers aren't quite as nice, but this just meant we had to do our utmost to keep each other warm, that wasnt hard!
the other girls are really nice, obviously!! but they are very cool too.
i especially liked when we washed each other with the soap, there is definitely something very erotic in having your head massaged.

Anything you miss about us here in Blighty? Got used to the lingo yet, seems that the Aussies use similar words like 'arse' and 'fanny' the way they were meant to be used so you should be okay.

Sue I think has a really nice smile (much like yourself in fact) and yes a very nice figure like you said. So your shoot together was a great idea. But I am also a sucker for the more darker haired girls and I can see from your reply to lxm that you liked Jo (good choice, she's very pretty and has amazing boobies). Yep you have good taste, darker haired girls are lovely. However I have a very open taste, for example I find some redheads very sexy and besides with gorgeous blonde girls like you and Sue, well its more sensible to remain open to different tastes, even if you do have a preference. Besides character/personality is just as important and like you said the other girls in the shower shoot are very cool chicks, as well as being stunning. You look like a very warm, friendly person, I reckon you're fitting in just fine and don't forget to share some of that Brit humour.

Well I hope you get the chance to do another similar shoot at some point. Meanwhile enjoy yourself loads and I'll hopefully talk to you again soon. Sweatyfox, I'm curious about spunky. That's not a commonly used word around here (US), but it's not likely to be misunderstood. I certainly have never thought of it as an Ozism.

nearly the end of a long and hard days work at the AW office, well not that hard!!
couldnt possibly go without writing a quick message to check up on you guys.
how has everyones day been??
you will probably get to see alot of me, ive always loved photography, so im constantly taking pictures of everything, sometimes they are quite boring, but its good practice.
whilst studying art and photography in england, i became abit of a hermit to the darkroom, id stay in it for hours at a time, sometimes leaving the college seriously late at night.
but not even the dark room could keep me in england, i had to see the world!take photos and do crazy things, such as AW!
as for it being my first experience, well, no not really.
but id never had 3 girls in a shower before.
they were all really good kissers, different styles.
sue is very much a soft, slow kisser, as appose to the other two who are a little more feisty!

It really feels like you are part of the family here now at AW.com. It really is good to be able to chat to you and from your posts it has become apparent that you are much more than a pretty face. Warm, friendly and good fun too, is there anything not to like about you? I'm sure as a Brit you have a good sense of humour, don't forget to put it to good effect whilst over with those Aussies! Jamie knows a good joke or two as well, as I'm sure you already found out. And Vidman is quite frankly a comedy genius, as well as being incredibly helpful in solving technical computer problems..

Anyway, I was hoping just to find out a bit more about your tastes in music, films and sports. Just, you know favourite titles, actors, groups etc. Oh and also important, what really makes you, Verity, laugh? Particular situations, types of jokes, comedy programmes on TV etc. Any particular favourite types of food? (Okay I'll stop myself now).

As you can see you are intriguing, so much more to know. I like the last line of your post,
"I've already said too much". No, I don't think so, there is so much more we want to know, you remain as fascinating a person as before, with just the right amount of mystery to keep us all hanging on!

Good to hear about the photography, talented as well! I love photography too but I get well jealous when I see all these people, including flatmates with spanking new digital cameras, whilst I'm left changing the film in my old style one (it does have a zoom function, so look on the bright side). Also I love films and my video camera is one of my other prized possessions. I have many ideas for making funny short films around London with friends but its finding the time when we can get together and plan that is the problem. Still one day, I hope to be able to quit the daily grind of work and go off and follow my movie making dreams. Even if I have to start off behind the camera on porn films...well you know, has its benefits too.

Friday already, this week has seriously flown by!
How has everyone else's week been then? At least you dont have to get up too early tomorrow, right?

SFasked me a few questions in his message, and seeing as I'm here to stay, I thought it would only be polite to do so, and grant his wishes, even though for some of you this may be a little boring and of no interest, but he goes anyway!

This is a short rundown on my life and family. I was actually born in montreal, Canada. We moved to the south of England when I was still a baby. I spent most of my childhood there, but then moved back to Canada when I was 7 and stayed there for 4 years. Then we moved back to England for a few years, (mum, dad, make up your minds!)
When I was 14 we carried on our journey by moving to the south of France, where I lived by the sea for 2 years, and lastly we returned back to Devon to live happily ever after! the end.
Oh and now I'm in Australia all by myself.
My brother is 4 years older than me and he currentlyliving in Greece, my parents are still in England, still very hapilly married.

I'm not used to writing down things about myself, but I'll start by telling you I loved all sports and generally try to keep fit, not that easy, especially in winter. When I lived in Canada, I was very sporty, I did competitive swimming and figure skating. I loved ice-skating because I got to wear loads of pretty outfits when I used to compete...I was young!
My brother and I went skiing and sledging alot too.
Then I took up tennis and did that for about 4 years, eventually I decided it was too much work, what with school work and exams, so I had to give it up.

I don't want to babble on too much so I'll try and wrap this thing up, my last job was lifeguarding, but that was actually very boring, it doesnt come close to being as good as this job obviously.

SF asked me about what I like to listen to, watch etc.
My favourite artist at the moment is probably Pharell Williams and NERD, I love all their music. I try not to watch too much telly but if Billy Conolly happens to be on then I automatically get glued to the screen, he always makes me laugh!

My favourite actors have to the very handsome Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio.Although they are very good looking guys, I actually think that they are extremely talented actors.

Firstly welcome to Sara, you're not the same as Sara G who used to be on here? Anyway I hope we'll be hearing a lot more from you. And greetings to all the other new members of course.

Thanks for the bio Verity, I honestly wouldn't have asked if I didn't want to know. Well travelled I see, well that's always good. Okay so you were born in Canada and spent time there and in France too but I think you spent most time in Britain and being as you're so cool and very beautiful, we'll claim you!

I like Billy Connolly too, even managed to get my parents into him a few years back. Anyway growing up in the north, a lot of his jokes ring true. Its just about funny observations on everyday things in life.

I like Johnny Depp too, in the acting sense only, I'm sure that you like him for other reasons too Verity. Yeah so he occasionally makes crappy choices but usually makes up for it with the good work he's done. I saw "Secret Window" recently, not exactly the most critically acclaimed movie he's done.

As for NERD, I like the vid for "She Wants To Move". And what about the song "Lapdance", pretty sleazy but in a good way. The X-rated version of the video just has loads of pornstars in some silly softcore 'pretending to be lesbians' action whilst Pharell tries to remain oblivious to the arses that are nearly being shoved in his face. Good on him, concentrate on the rap if you can Mr Williams. I've actually been to Virginia Beach, the area they come from in the USA.

This is infact my first ever visit to Australia. I can see how it might appear preety dramatic, seeing as its pretty much the furthest place from home before you start getting closer again, if you get me?
That was kind of the whole point, get away from the parents! (I'm only joking).
The truth is, Ever since I started doing geography when I was still a little girl, I dreamed of coming to this country. Australia has always had some kind of extra ordinary appeal to me, its been at the top of my travelling check list for a looooong time!
And now that I'm here, I can assure you I'm not dissappointed in the slightest.

Friend's birthday at the weekend, her work colleagues booked out an entire room of a pub for her, very cool. Then on to a club in the early hours, only time I'll ever travel in a London taxi! Had a nice dinner too on Saturday night for her.

Hey SF, nice of you to check up on me, I'm great these days. My weekend wasn't all that exciting though. Come to think of it, it wasn't really enjoyable at all.

I wasn't going to go out, just felt like relaxing at home by myself, but my friend persuaded me to go out with her, so we went to a few bars. She then told me that she had just had a MAJOR row with her boyfriend and continued to go on about how it happened, what an idiot he was and that she was going to leave him by the end of the wek, etc, so I had to listen to that all night long...but hey, that's what friends are for.

Apart from that, life is beautiful, was going to go to the cinema but couldn't decide on what film to see, is The Bourne Supremacy any good? any other film recommendations??
As I said in a previous message, I like going to see alternative/foreign films, so I'm waiting for a good one to come up.

Hey Verity,

I thought the Bourne Supremacy was a good movie. Now I have not seen the first one, so I thought I'd be well out of place but I understood it enough. My friends who have seen both say that it isn't as good as The Bourne Identity but is still a good movie. Basically most of the plotlines from the first film get resolved, there is tragedy in store for one of the characters and there is a frighteningly realistic car chase which you just have to see, its a bit too much like you're actually there! I think its a Brit director which is cool and also its slightly darker than the first.

Dodgeball is funny in places, a good pick-me-up if you're feeling a little bit down. Isn't as funny as Starsky and Hutch (the last one I saw Ben Stiller in) but has a good heartwarming underdog story and some good dirty jokes. I thought the Lance Armstrong scene was very funny.

Well the IMDB sure is an amazing resource and you have to give huge props to the people who maintain it, I mean that is some site! So detailed, good links, charts, new openings, user ratings.

As for alternative and foreign films, I am still waiting to see The Motorcycle Diaries and Super Size Me. Have you by any chance seen Y Tu Mama Tambien or Amores Perros, Verity? Well same guy is in the Motorcycle Diaries, Gael Garcia something or other? If you haven't seen these couple you should try at some point.

I saw the 'horror' film, The Eye, on video. Not too scary, more psychological horror, its not gory or graphic.

I really want to go and see the Bourne supremacy, I think Matt Damon is a pretty good actor and the film looks pretty interesting. But the main reason is because when I was in India, I was told that parts of it were being filmed on the beach we were staying at. Oh, by the way, since we're talking about movies ... I just saw a movie again (on DVD, in the cinema last year) that I must bring to your attention, because it's probably one of the funniest and most memorable movies I have ever seen: Secretary (2002) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274812/).

The leads are James Spader (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000652/) as a closet-sadistic, obsessive-compulsive (and therefore lonesome) lawyer, and Maggie Gyllenhaal (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0350454/) as a closet-masochistic, self-mutilating girl (she carries a small purse with scissors, iodine and band-aids for that purpose..) becoming his secretary. They play their roles to perfection.

If this sounds like a scenario for a horror film: it certainly is a dark comedy, but I promise you you'll laugh out loud more times than one. The movie is very warm and radiant (due to the exquisite colors, the shadowy interiors and the perfect music by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks)). It never turns into slapstick (well, some slap) or an all-out comedy, which makes it even greater.

The level of tension between the two (one really wants to dominate and control, but holds back, the other wants to be punished and told off, but can't get him to do that as much as she would like) is great, causing small details, facial expressions and every day situations to become very important.

The movie has a lot (and I mean a lot) of close-ups of especially Maggie Gyllenhaal, and they're worth every second. I didn't know her that well before (she played Donnie Darko's sister, which she is, of course), and I never knew that she was such a terrific actress when it comes to facial expressions for every mood you can imagine. As far as I'm concerned, this is the defining role of her career. You have to be rather insensitive not to find her a total babe after this movie. If you happen to spot this movie in a theater (or on DVD) go see it or go get it. Thank me later.

Highlights: the masturbation scenes (just a little bit different ..), the dialogs (goofy boyfriend after the first clumsy time: "I didn't hurt you, did I?" - sad reply: "No ..."), the visual comedy (Maggie wants to be spanked after she got some in the office, but goofy boyfriend has no idea what to do with that butt in his face), etcetera. Very funny.

My solo shoot is going to be up any minute now, I haven't seen it yet so I must admit I'm rather nervous.
It's been a little while now since I did the shoot, I no longer have a nice tan. No more white bum, just white all over!
That's what winter does to you though. I managed to catch a few rays on sunday, I spent a couple of hours in the back yard sunbathing, but I don't think it has had much of an affect.

Gosh that was a weekend!

It was both Kitsune's and my birthday this week, so we decided to celebrate it together (makes sense)

We had a private dinner in a restaurant with loads of people from work and more. Most of the other guests that were there were friends or relatives of Kitsume, I still don't know that many people so I just brought myself along.

Although I didnt have any of my family and friends from back home it was a great Birthday do, Im sure the open bar (lots of wine) helped things along extra smoothly.

I do look awfully serious dont I? Smiling is great but abit of Seriousness here and then isn't a bad thing.

I've never been interested in actingm, probably because I was no good at it at school and never took drama lessons seriously.

I think the reason I like to change my look is because I get bored of one style quite quickly, I dont think I would ever dye my hair black and turn really gothic, nor would I dye it multicolour and dress all in tie dye... but suttle changes from time to time are good. They make you feel good about yourself.

I just had a look at Sue and I, I like it alot, Im definitely not ruling out GG3, it would have to be with someone I really liked and had a close connection with.

Yep Verity, my birthday is today and I like being a Libra. Though I don't attach too much importance to starsigns, there's something quite nice about having the scales as your star sign. My life's a bit of a rollercoaster at the moment, some very nice highs (as with my birthday celebrations with my mates and housemates) and some lows where I've been feeling pretty shitty about myself and life in general. I think I'd prefer meandering along at a stable 'average' at the moment.

Maybe you should start an Agony Aunt/Dear Verity thread so we can pose some questions, after all you seemed clued up about such matters and you are exactly the kind of lovely, fun, friendly, all round kick ass girl that I'm sure many of us would like to meet.

My favourite is 'guitar' music from as soft as an acoustic band like Travis thru punk to something about as heavy as Deftones etc (that's where I draw the line, it has to still have a recognisable melody!). So yeah across the spectrum there. But I also like singer-songwriter types, Soul and Rap music (where the lyrics and samples are intelligent or just really funky) and some dance music (again not the silly poppy/Euro stuff but the more thoughtful dance music that mixes genres).

I seem to remember you preferred RandB/Soul etc, bands like NERD. Now see there's one I like cos they are creative both lyrically and in the samples/beats they use. Did you know how many recent hits for other artists that Pharell and co have been behind? So any recommendations from you Verity are most welcome, I'd like to explore.

I hope you are all taking good care of yourselves, especially my fellow englishmen, as I know for you guys the days are getting colder and shorter.

Over here it's the opposite, woo hoo, if you have checked out the thread Abby just started on, you can see I am not wasting anytime, if we are doing a shoot outdoors, at the beach and it's sunny then I'm there for sure. If you come from the south of England where the sun makes a brief appearance once a month (if you're lucky) then you make the most of every sunny day that comes your way.

I wanted to get nice and brown, the models were completely naked so I didn't see the problem in showing abit of leg too.

Anyway, Christmas is soon approaching. Usually it's a time when I start to panick bcos I have to buy loads of presents etc, but this year it will be quite cheap for me cos most of my friends are still in the uk.
I still can't get my head round the fact that it's christmas and it's not cold!!!
Everywhere I have lived b4 it's always been cold, dark, and white when I lived in Canada. It's very confusing for me, but in a good way.

I had a surprisingly relaxed day today and this afternoon I had a free moment so I thought to myself, 'why not take a photo to show our devoted members what my current state is' Brilliant! It's about bloody time too. I was ashamed of myself when I realised how long it had been since my last post, but believe me, there really is not a lot of spare time these days.

It's hard enough trying to keep in touch with family and friends back in England, and then there's you guys!

I also spotted that my redux shoot was coming up this Wednesday, oh god, that was ages ago now! Long before I thought I'd be working here. Sadly I have put on a bit of weight since that last shoot, but I have just started going to yoga, so I hope to get back in shape in the nearby future. With a pinch of hard work and a huge dollop of luck, I'll be back in those jeans in no time.

Anyway I hope everyone had lovely holidays. I'm sure it was very cold for the most of you. Not for us. I must admit I'm not a big one on traditional Christmas’s, Christmas’s at all come to think of it, but this year was nice, as I had mentioned before I went camping. It was great, I got to see a bit of Victoria, a more rural side and I spent New Year's Eve underneath a sky filled with millions of stars.
I didn't even make it till mid night, I was fast asleep at 11pm.

Quite different to say my last New Year's, which was spent behind the bar at the pub I worked at dressed up as a Christmas tree (last minute costume) but which everyone mistook me for Christina Aguilera (the pop singer)

And the year before that was spent on a dance floor, in a club. And the year before that, okay I’ll stop.

I’d love to hear all about your fun and adventures over the holidays, or the lack of them if the case may be.

Hi everyone,

Had a few minutes to spare so I thought I'd pop by and see who's around these days. I'll fill you in with what's been happening in verity's world these last few weeks...not much really.

At work I have been trying my bast at perfecting my videography skills, I still think I have along way to go but Abby has been really helpful. We have been reviewing some of the video's together and discussing how we could make them better. Of course they aren't that bad at the moment but there's always room for improvement in this buisness.

At home I have been enjoying my parents company. They arrived last week and are leaving again in a few days. I took them to the Australian Open, which was a great day out. We got to see the women's semi finals. I would have liked to see the men's final too but I waited to late and the tickets sold out. But hey, I got to see the very svelte Maria Sharapova (the russian hottie). She was quite entertaining, I think most of the spectators were male that day! You weren't supposed to but I took my video camera and got a few 'up skirt' shots as she bounced around the court in her mini-micro tennis dress. Cheeky, eh? Mum got really sick of hearing Sharapova's grunts and groans when she hit the ball but I thought they were quite funny.

It's been lovely having them here, I hadn't seen them for almost a year. On the other hand, I think I'm ready to let them leave on Sunday, Mum has been fussing over me and it's driving mental. She irons my underwear for Christ's sakes.

What else...? Ooh, the ceiling in my bathroom came falling down last night. Apparently. There was a big storm last night and I slept through the whole thing. I sleep really deeply. The only thing that can wake me up is alarms, purely because the person that invented them also thought up the most annoying sound that no one can bear listening to.

Anyway, back to work I suppose

The fact is they don't know exactly what my job consists of. They do, but they don't really. All they know is I shoot vids of girls and I help Abby photograph girls, I just left out the bit where the girls are naked,...ooops!
I was thinking about telling them but in the end I chickened out.
I'll probably tell them when the time is right, it just seemed abit too much as I hadn't seen them for almost a year and we had only talked on the phone very occasionaly.

Anyway on a more positive note, I did a really good video today. I shot an upcoming model, Anthea, and we both really enjoyed doing the vid. It was actually her 2nd vid so she was a little more relaxed and she did such a great job. The content is definitely good quality, I just hope I haven't screwed it up with my videography skills!!

My favourite artist at the moment is probably Pharell Williams and NERD, I love all their music. I try not to watch too much telly but if Billy Conolly happens to be on then I automatically get glued to the screen, he always makes me laugh!

My favourite actors have to the very handsome Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio.Although they are very good looking guys, I actually think that they are extremely talented actors.

Billy Connolly is great. Though I am English, I grew up in Scotland and for me he gives a much better impression of Scots than the stereotype. Cos there are loads of cool, fun people up there but then there are the dour, anything anti-English should be worshipped, sour folks like that absolute f**king tool who manages Man Utd. So it was great to see an upbeat, funny comedian who genuinely loves travelling to other countries and has an open mind, emerge from a pretty harsh upbringing in not exactly the wealthiest part of Glasgow. Hi guys,
So we have finally arrived in our Secret Location, what a trip. Actually it wasn't anything compared to Jamie's roadtrip, apparently it took her 2 whole days to get up here. Abby, Susie and I got to fly up in 2 hours, Yay!

Today was really hot, I think I got pretty burned on the beach. Oh oh, I must be more careful with my delicate skin, ha ha.
We went to a really nice nudist beach, it was a fun drive up there, and I got to drive my 4x4, that was cool.

I went out lastnight with a friend and went out drinking and dancing. It was really fun, we were dancing together on the dance floor and her skirt kept falling down, it was one with a velcro waistband and it wouldn't stop coming unstuck.
Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on me.
I am starting to think living by the beach is very cool. I got up early (ish) to go down to the beach and there was heaps more people; guys surfing, people flying their kites, girls doing yoga...

I went to the beach yesterday with a friend and to our pleasant surprise it turned out to be a nudist beach. Well sort of. It's an unofficial one, so some people had clothes on but most didn't.
As usual I misinterpreted the strength of the sun and my poor bottom got a rather good roasting.
At least I have some sort of colour now, I was fed up of being such a whitey.
I probably won't go back to that beach again though, so now I will get really cool tan lines.

Went out in Grimbo last week (still think it stinks of fish, though we know all who live in grimbo are cod heads (local name). Did Verity tell you all about how curly her hair has become since she stopped straightening it? I first met her JUST before we all came together for this project and her hair was dead straight. I never even considered that it wasn't natural, but since we've been here, she's had it up in the cutest little curly bun each day with little tendrils of the cutest curls wisping out. She looks so cutie pie.

I feel really anxious when I consider doing a shoot. Not to mention old. I'm the old one you know? Remember that time I told you all about how I found my old interview form from when I was very first interviewed for AW.com and they wrote, and I quote, 'big bum, gappy teeth'. That scarred me for life. Actually, I'm rather fond of my somewhat 'gappy teeth'. When I was little I could fit a 20c piece between my two front chompers. I don't know how many of you have seen a NZ or Australian 20c pieve but it's pretty chunky. Anyway, they've closed up a bit since then, but no matter how much yoga and power walking I do, I have to settle to the fact that my big bum is here to stay. What's a girl to do? If I do a shoot again (geez, it's been a while) it may very well come back to haunt me.

In the mean time I'll do my very best to let Verity know how much it would mean to you all if we could rally together and create a 'DREAM TEAM' shoot for all our wonderful loyal members. Fingers crossed! I can't promise anything.

I spoke to Jamie the other day, trust me, it wasn't easy for her to leave us but she sounded like she was just about coping. She has just moved house and she's having a house warming party next weekend. The theme is 'Pirates' apparently but I suppose it can be broadened out a bit. I can't wait to dress up, I should go shopping tomorrow for some old, ragged, tattered-up stuff. It should be fun to get some clothes and tear them all up. I plan on looking really manky and blackening out some of my teeth. Getting a sword should be fun!
It has just dauned on me that I also have another dress up party to go to, same weekend. I hope it's not the same night. Or maybe I do, I don't think I can handle getting dressed up twice let alone 2 parties in 1 weekend.
The other part is a 'Bond' theme, baddies, goodies, whoever. I was thinking the evil psycho russian chick from Golden Eye who suffocates men in bed.

I hope everyone had or are still having (which might be the case for some but I doubt it) a great weekend. Mine was pretty relaxed, although I did go clothes shopping on Sunday which for me proves always to be a highly stressful activity. I used to really enjoy going shopping for clothes but now I prefer the weekly food shopping. Plus I found myself buying stuff I didn't really like or need, just for the sake of it.
By the end of the day I was walking around with 2 big bags of clothes, most which I'll probably return, but I think I just wanted a good dose of retail therapy.
I bought some new jeans because I can't fit into my old ones *weep* which I loved so much. I have never had a real sentimental attachment to any of my clothes apart from my old jeans.
Anyway, hope evryone's weekend was as exciting as mine

Commiserations for your loss ;) It's a double bummer, because distressed jeans are quite the in thing at the moment (and they cost an entire pay packet to buy that way). Me, I rummaged around and found an old pair of my own, but my belly said no as well - Dammit, Melbourne food is too good!

Mind you - if memory serves - you sure looked trim enough in some sexy shorts on the special project, so I think your old jeans must have shrunk!

It's good to be back! I had yesterday off because I was really tired and just didn't feel quite right. Couldn't sleep sunday night, spent the whole night tossing and turning, dreaming awful things, came 9 am I had only had an hour's sleep.
I had a driving lesson this morning and was totally rubbish. I seem to be getting worse and worse the more moeny I pay my instructor. My test is coming up very soon (secret date) and I'm not overly confident. For some years now it's been my worse fear to fail my driving test so I might be a little edgy over next next few weeks. Maybe that's why I couldn't sleep, who know's...?

I went out dancing on friday night, it was a lot of fun, only got home at 7am. I managed to cut my knee, not badly but there was blood. My friend lost her wallet so I decided to get doen on all fours in my mini skirt and look for it (ignoring the broken glass on the floor).

Hope you are all well, I have been spinning around on my stool (deja vus???) for old times sake's. Sorry about the blur, I took myself plus with timer.

Artlover's Quick Guide to Driving:

1. The gas pedal is for going faster. The brake is for going slower. The steering wheel is for going right or left. The horn is for honking at the idiot in front of you who isn't going fast enough.

2. Hands are for operating all the dookickeys on the dashboard, and for waving at friends. The middle finger is for waving at enemies. Avoid middle finger use near cops and bad neighborhoods.

3. For the test, wear the outfit you have on in your latest pictures. Short skirts are essential--they give your legs lots of freedom of motion.

i took my test for my p's just a year or two ago, and the only advice i have is for the oral test (stop sniggering you dogs!!) always remember to mention "and check for pedestrians"....oh and tell them everything you do, like if the question is about turning, dont forget to say that you indicate. i was lucky that my test guy didnt give a shit....he helped me out heaps and pretty much coached me through it. ;)
dont fret about the driving test too, if youve got the basics down the rest will follow. i dont think they expect you to do everything perfectly, just safely(actually that is a BIG point.....SAFETY!!! dont worry about being too slow or whatever...as long as your doing it safely) . i was hopeless, but you learn, im a kick ass driver now....at least i think so.... the guys behind me dont but im too busy listening to whitesnakeand rocking out ;)

p.s. someone told me that they failed because the tester told them to pull over and park at a bus stop so he did....bingo no license. the moral of this story isnt to take some brass knuckles in case you get a prick like that, it is to do everything by the book. i think.

p.p.s. always look in the mirrors when youre braking and turning and all that jazz, coz they watch you! and you dont know they are. and keep both hands on the wheel. as my instructor told me "you can do what you like with them after the test but until then they stay on the wheel".

I can't actually understand why I'm so tired, we had a long weekend over here as it was anzac on monday and all I did was bum around and binge on fast food and movies.
I litterally spent all of Saturday sleeping too! But that was mainly due to coming home at 7.30am from the dance club. It was such an awsome night filled with lots of dancing and bumping into things and tripping over people. And I got a whole bottle of water slowly poured down me from the top of my head, down my top, down my belly etc.
I awoke at some stage sat afternoon (still drunk) only to find I had 5 messages on my phone from the friend I went out with, she was checking up on me to make sure I got home safely and that I wasn't lying dead in some ditch on the side of the road somewhere :)

Hey everyone,

Well, I just awoke from another of my sick naps, I've just about had enough of them, still it's what you have to do when you are poorly. I can't believe I've had 3 days off work for being sick, it's very unlike me but then again I don't usually get sick that often. I guess it was inevitable, I think it's the first time that I have actaully been sick in Australia, so I guess that would make me a reasonably healthy person. Still sucks though, I thought I was feeling better yesterday and then I woke up with the worst throat and heavy head and my nose feels like one big blister. I don't think blowing it is making much difference anymore, I can't even feel the damn thing :)

Being sick definitely saves on laudry though, I've just been roaming around in my pyjamas the whole time, except for shower breaks. Plus I'm not really in the mood to do laundry so it works out well.

I spoke to Susie this morning and she didn't sound too good at all (it's all my fault!). I was trying not to pass on my cold by staying at home but it looks like it's already made it's way around the whole office. But being the trooper she is she has still come to work and is at this very minute doing the videos that I was meant to do. Cheers mate! Just don't fuck them up with your dodging zooms :) I Hope you feel much better later on, I am sending you get well soon telepathic messages...oh good, you got them.
