I read elsewhere that Gabrielle was moving house.
Probably means her computer is offline for a while ?

Hey TB where did you read that Gabrielle was moving house? Maybe I missed it, I'm not always reading the forums, although I'm the site most of the day, or should I say, on and off all day long.

Well it's been more than 10 days since her last post, so I suppose it might be true. She did say though she was working very hard for AW. Surely no need to call the police :D, but it would be nice to hear from her. Just like for many other models, we do appreciate they're coming to the board to entertain us.:)

Casgrain ... It was from her last post in fact in the Turn Ons / Turn offs thread ... Please Look Here (http://forums.abbywinters.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=75805#post75805)

Actually, Gabrielle's computer is now part of her income so the delay seems even moreeeee looooonnggggerrrrrr. Could be that Gabrielle and her boyfriend can't agree on where to place the bed and need to get more familiar with the new settings....Now that would be a good reason for the delay!

True Casgrain. We fit into the target market, but that is what the reality is. There are some younger members here, however most of us fall in the "daddy range". WTF, we like it anyway, or we wouldn't re-sub.
Sad part is, when you form a relationship that you think you can grab a piece of understanding of an A/W model - truth is you don't have any insight into their private inner thoughts and resulting actions. So we tend to fantasize about their lives, not cognazant to the fact they have real lives to deal with outside our fantasies. It may be healthy to pine for lost friends, but those lost friends may be just taking care of their own business. We should respect them for that, IMO.
Casgrain, there are a great many members that wish Gabrielle good wishes to, amoungst yourself are other members such as the input field and many many more supporters who value you, here are the most reg's..

i'm here, i'm here!!

*hugs everyone*

i'm so sorry for the absense, but you guessed it - my life has been absolutely hectic for a while now. i've moved my entire house and all my pets into my boyfriend's house, where there isn't really room for all my stuff (it's temporary until we find a real place together) and everything is in utter shambles! i have had the computer set up because i've had to do work on it, but beyond doing that all my time has been eaten by packing/moving/cleaning and doing some major uni assignments that were due this week. i handed the last of that lot in today, and just have one more due next week that shouldn't take too much time. unfortunately, this being my final year at uni, my time is going to be stretched pretty thin until god knows when, so my time here might be limited. i'll still try and come in as often as i can, though, i promise! i might just try and keep this thread active and updated, and might have to reduce the amount of other browsing and commenting i do. after all, you guys are important :)

rt, regarding your somewhat sad post - i would like to think all of us have some sort of understanding or arrangement. just like friendship is an arrangement. i love coming on here and chatting, sharing bits of my life and enjoying your conversation and company, and i get the idea that you guys do too. if it makes you feel any better, i haven't been able to see my real life friends for even longer than i've been away from here!

oh, and i've done a total of 10 sets now, one or two of them have already come out (i'm not sure if i'm allowed to say which ones i've done, though?). i seem to be doing pretty well - the gals are happy with my work, anyway, which is nice :)

i'm doing a special video project this weekend for abby, not sure how it turn out as i'm shooting it all myself, but i'll let you know how it goes :) any suggestions or requests? i might do some stuff in the bedroom, IM-style, and some stuff in bathrooms or change-rooms (i need to buy some new underwear, coincidentally, so thought i might take you guys along :D). what else can i do? any specific requests for the bedroom stuff? should i get naughty and tie myself up, or stick to the basics? what do you think of a hand (my boyfriend's) coming into shot to use a toy, or otherwise pleasure me?

Woo-hoo! Hi, Gabrielle! Glad to hear your move is over and done with...huge relief, huh? I'm new here...I just joined on Saturday and it's all because of you! ;) I've had your Girls in Love DVD for a while now and I absolutely adore it. I hope you find space for your kick-ass room decor at your boyfriend's place...especially your lavalamp and your Death/Sandman statue. I was so excited when I saw that in your room. I have that same statue -- totally one of my favorites -- and I've never met another person who has one. That reminds me... I'd love to show off my motorcycle jacket to you, if I may...

Well, I just wanted to drop by and let you know how much I admire you. Have a great week! :)

casgrain, i figured i might have naughty things done to me if i'm tied up - after all, i'll probably need some assistance with the tying part anyway :D

yachtie, yep, still natural! my boyfriend took to it with clippers recently and it got a bit short, but i've grown it all back now :) i would never cut it all off. (well, not again anyway - it's been shaved once or twice in the past as an experiment)

towelboy, my corset is currently being borrowed by a friend who was using it in a play. i'll have to get it back for the weekend, then ;)

kara, sorry to say the death statue was my then-boyfriends, but i do love neil gaiman as well! however, the lavalamp is mine, and i still have it! i would get it out for the shoot for you, but it's all in boxes along with the rest of my life at the moment. i have a clothes and one or two stuffed animals out of boxes, everything else is packed :( the stuff in the tour video is all mine, though. hm, music. at the moment i'm listening to a lot of tori amos, muse, and on the other side of the scale, marilyn manson and nine inch nails. there's a lot in between, but lately i've been pretty stressed and anxious, which makes me want to either listen to something relaxing and a bit melancholy like tori, or kill-the-world music like nin.

ok, guys, so mostly i'm just including me in the shoot - lol! i can do that we want some close ups, we wouldn't mind being assisted, and we want to see the corset and the toy collection. got it! anything else?

Gabrielle, that would be sexy if you could get some assistance from your boyfriend on the shoot, that way we could dispell the myth that men are lazy and just sit around all day. ;)
I imagine it would be difficult to arrange that to be though. I am with Bookmanz on the close-ups, I would like to see more if possible. I had once asked for more nape of the neck shots as I find yours highly sensual (as well as your eyebrows). Will you be wearing your signature glasses as well? I hope so! Damn..it is just good to hear from you again!

Hi Gabrielle

I have been a fan of your's since your first set!

What I'd love to see is you totally nude, with just your glasses on and a pair of black Haviannas thongs, or cheap thongs (like $2 at Safeways). Totally nude and just thongs is a fetish of mine, and I think you'd look spectacular! Any chance?

I'd love to see you being helped with a toy in just your glasses and a pair of thongs! Plus maybe you could do some anal toy play for us (naked-thongs-glasses).

What are your assignments on? I hope you blitz them!

Love you lots

Neat! Yeah, I'm all over the map with my taste too. My favorite relaxing, melt away the stress music is by Heather Nova...do you know any of her stuff? She's an amazing singer/songwriter from Bermuda and has the most sensual and beautiful voice -- people compare her to Sarah McLachlan a lot but I like Heather a whole bunch more. Lately I've been listening to the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs CD and a duo called Vixtrolla. They don't officially have an album out yet but their songs can be found on the web. I'd compare them with the Eurythmics.

Oh, and as for your video...as long as you're barefoot, I'm happy ;)

as this is a video project, i'm not sure how closeups are going to work. closeups of bits are easy enough, while i'm doing something there or whatnot, but closeups of the nape of my neck may be difficult to do while still maintaining interest. i'll see what i can come up with :) and of _course_ i'll be wearing my glasses! i can't see all that well without them, and (more importantly) i know how much you guys like them ;)

yay for 1000 posts! congratulations, casgrain! i have no idea if this will even work to enoguh degree to go up on the site, and if it does, i have no idea when it'll go up. lol - sorry for the vagueness, i just do the modelling, abby takes care of the rest!

marty, i can't wear thongs, the gap between my toes is too small and they give me blisters! sorry! i can do the anal play, however, i was already planning that one ;) i do digital media at uni, majoring in 3d animation - the project that was due was a character animation project. i wasn't very happy with the outcome, though, because i ran out of time in the end (even with giving up my forum time!), so i'm not sure how i'll go.

kara, i've heard of heather nova, she had a single out here a couple years ago i think... can't remember what. but yeah, i remember her being vaguely like sarah mclachlan. cept i liked sarah mclachlan better ;)

towelboy, i hope it turns out well too! if it does, i might be the first model to have this kind of shoot go up on abbywinters (i think?) *crosses fingers*

lol toe sucking huh? to be honest the foot thing has never really worked for me. i've fooled around with one or two people who have liked it (when you hang around the fetish scene, you get that :P ) and enjoy giving them a fetish that they really enjoy, but i always feel a bit silly doing it, myself. i'll definitely do the barefoot thing, though, how's that? :D

Hey, I noticed a while back that you were going to read A Scanner Darkly -- did you know there's going to be a film of it soon? Richard Linklater is making it using the same animation techniques he used for Waking Life. Should be pretty cool.

Well, if you ever think of it, I am always looking for good recommendations.

I'm so happy that you love Waking Life! I know so few people who've actually seen it! I really like animated films, especially the more serious ones. I adore Miyazaki's work and one of my favorite films of all time is also a Japanese animation, Grave of the Fireflies. Have you ever seen that? Devastating. I don't know if you can call Waking Life "animated" so much as "badly rotoscoped". Just looking at teh clips gave me a headache.

A Scanner Darkly is "better rotoscoped" but still likely to get on my nerves really quickly. And it has three of my least favourite actors in it, which pretty much puts it on my no-watch list.

I started reading the best book today -- Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell (Yep...the same Sarah Vowell who voiced Violet in The Incredibles. She's a political writer by day) I don't know if you have any interest in U.S. history, but this is such a witty and entertaining read. Basically it's about Sarah (and her poor, beleaguered friends she drags along) traveling the country to visit points of interest relating to the first three U.S. presidents who were assassinated. You gotta love a book that begins, "One night last summer, all the killers in my head assembled on a stage in Massachusetts to sing show tunes." My favorite line so far is, "Going to Ford's Theatre (where President Lincoln was shot) to watch the play is like going to Hooters for the food." Oh wait...I'm not sure if you have Hooters in Australia...let me check...

http://hooters.know-where.com/hooters/top/intl.html

Oops...guess not. But they have one in China??? What the heck?

I've been reading lots of non-fiction lately...I have a huge stack of books by my bed that I keep meaning to get to. A couple of books I recently enjoyed quite a bit are Kiss My Tiara: How to Rule the World as a SmartMouth Goddess by Susan Jane Gilman (although, I suspect that you may have written this, Gabrielle ;) ) and The Secret Lives of Girls: What Good Girls Really Do - Sex Play, Aggression, and their Guilt by Sharon Lamb. I also have a new, thick volume of Strangers in Paradise comics that I keep meaning to get into. What are you reading these days?

aw come on, vid dude, have some sense of art! :D i loved the style, i loved that each segment was obviously rotoscoped by different people in different styles, each bit told a story from the visuals alone. it was rich.

though i agree about the casting in a scanner darkly. winona ryder and keanu reeves? do they expect anyone to take it seriously?

kara, i haven't had time to read much lately. i've been so busy with uni, moving, and life in general. these days i'm lucky to have 10 minutes on the bus when i'm not in full-thinky-mode.

I'm not too concerned about the casting. While I would smack the both of them, given the chance, I have to keep reminding myself that Linklater was the one who made Ethan Hawke halfway tolerable.

I totally hear ya about having the time for reading. I just picked up this book after quite a dry spell. Hope you get some time for leisure soon! :)

my mice are kept in a separate room that the cats don't have access to because they tend to knock the cages off the table. i have about 25 mice these days, and breed them for shows (like dog shows, but for mice!) and pets. in years gone, when i had less, i used to keep them in my room and tie the cages down so the cats couldn't knock them off (like you can see if those earlier pics), and mostly they ignored them.

i do have another cat, he's a maine coon and his name is elfin. jezebel is the brains, he's the pretty!

i think my hottest video is the jamie one, i can't choose second between christiana and adeline... it's too hard!

lol the mice can be a bit smelly - if i get lazy (or busy!) and don't clean their cages often enough. i'm usually on top of it, though. they have a room to themselves anyway, so most people who come into the house don't even notice they're there!

a good show-winning mouse should have big eyes, big, alert ears, a long tail and a nice body shape. there are also different coat types like longcoat, and rex (like with cats) and different colours and markings that they're judged on the quality of. and importantly, they're also judged on temperament - how friendly they are, how curious and alert, and general health and wellbeing. they don't need to be trained like a dog, but they do need to be friendly, healthy little guys. you can always tell if a mouse is a well-loved pet :)

heh - elfin is three and a bit, and i named him all by myself :P actually, he sort of named himself. he was going to be called saxon but when i met him, i kept describing him as 'elfin looking' - and the name stuck.

hiya vancouvsun! thanks for posting :D hang around as lonh as you like! there's always fun to be had here, right kids?

aw, giantpanda, thanks for that! don't feel stupid - we're all in this together :) there's still another redux shoot i did at the end of last year that hasn't gone up yet, so hopefully we'll see that soon.

kara, i'm not the biggest cook. i do a lot of pasta and rice dishes, i make a mean bolognase, and do a few different things with stir-fries or steamed vegies. i make a great stuffed field-mushroom. i don't really have a favourite recipe, i'm pretty easy to please :P

i always feel kinda wrong eating australian animals - there's a few places that serve kangaroo, crocodile, emu, etc... but i feel bad! i'm not the hugest meat-eater anyway, i don't like thinking about eating animals, i'm such an animal-lover! i went to the royal easter show this year and saw the cow exhibit, with all these beautiful well-cared-for animals, and the sign was all about how tasty there were. it made me so sad! i think in my mind i'd like to be vegetarian, but i can't be bothered... and meat is too tasty!

I know! I have the same quandary. I love animals so much...but I just gotta have a steak every so often! I hope it doesn't make me a horrid person that I've eaten 'roo...and really liked it! But I could never be a chef. I always have to leave the kitchen when the lobsters go in the pot :(

I do love pasta and rice, though...especially rice. Various Asian cuisines are my favorite. I could totally live off Sushi -- when I've been to Japan, I've always thought that I'd be the healthiest person if I lived there. I ate fish every day, I felt fantastic!

well, ok, but don't tell anyone else! they'll all want one!

kara, i've had roo, and liked it, it's a lovely juicy meat. i guess it's just that i've grown up with the imagery of australian animals as lovely, fluffy, friendly things - how can you eat skippy? the reality is that kangaroos have become pests in australian farmland because of the unnatural scaping people have done to the land. like rabbits - though you rarely get to eat bunny-steak.

i eat a lot of sushi too - i go through phases of having it for breakfast on my way to uni every day, i'm sure i was healthier than ever!

Ya' know, I said that fresh seafood meal I had in Boston so many years ago was memorable, but the thing is I can't remember if we also had oysters or clams? I think it was clams, because I had oysters in Japan and they were soooooo good :p What we had in Boston tasted really salty and you didn't really chew them so much as pour them out of the shell and then let it slide down your throat. i'm not mad about gab or gabby, i prefer gabrielle in full, but that said, i'm not _too_ fussed. i had a friend who shared my name at school when i was a kid, and she was always called gabby - maybe that contibuted to it. i like being unique :)

as for the nice guy thing - maybe it business you gotta be mean to succeed, but there's no way a mean guy gets to go out with the nice girls. and you know it's the nice girls who are the most interesting in the bedroom ;)

Oh, I know that. I've never knowingly shared my bed with a (pardon the expression) bitch ... I wouldn't want to. The thing about being called a nice guy is that I don't like any label. If I may expand on this thought; yesterday, I was listening to an interview on a radio programme called Fresh Air (http://www.npr.org/templates/rundowns/rundown.php?prgId=13&prgDate=04-25-2006&view=storyview). The link should take you to a page with notes for that day. The guest, Dan Gottlieb, is host of a show on the same NPR station and a therapist. He related the story of a patient who said to him that her soul was a prism. People, she felt, see only one colour but a prism casts out all the colours of the rainbow and it bothered her when others only saw one of her soul's colours. When I heard that, something in me resonated. The proverbial light bulb went off above my head and I had a way of describing my frustration with the way I feel others often see me ... if they notice me at all ;)

I don't like being labeled anything but people will do it anyway. When someone calls me a nice guy, they are almost always disappointed when I do something stupid, careless, self centered or just plain wrong. (I never hit, though -- I'm not a violent person at all!) So I'd almost prefer people think I'm an Jerk or an Asshole first and then be pleasantly surprised later when they finally see what happens when the light shines on me through that prism :D

I probably shouldn't have said I ignore the critics. Like Abby, I appreciate feedback and listen to and read all the reviews. As I said in Jemma's thread, I'm very shy but I wouldn't mind having a larger audience ... <3

p.s. - I also did realize while making my last post that gabrielle's nom de model probably isn't her real name. And now if it's all right with you all, please shine the spotlight back on her. And if you actually read all the way to here, in the words of The King, "Thank you, Ah thank you very much.

Dude, that's deep.

But that's precisely why I'm drawn to Gabrielle. She shows off so many colors at once; she's a nice girl, a naughty girl, silly, funny, playful, serious, intelligent, gentle, fierce, grounded, wacky, talented, and many, many other things that I'm either blanking on or that we haven't yet seen :) Complexity is sexy!

gabrielle was not the name my mother gave me, but that doesn't make it any less me. i have lots of different names - to my mother, to my boyfriend, to my mouse-club friends, to various groups of online friends, i'm called something different. that doesn't make me MPD, nor does it make them any less real. it's like being callerd samantha but going by sam - same person, different name. and, i'm a slightly different person with each of those groups, or rather - i allow different aspects of myself to shine. if i went on about such-and-such a mouse breeding to you guys, or to my mother for that matter, i'd be looked at funny. and vice versa - i can talk about sex toys or balmain bugs (perhaps :P) on these forums better than i could with my school friends. it also let me nurture and bring out certain aspects of myself (like my overwhelming desire to get nekkid and photograph myself, say) that aren't necessarily welcome in other parts of my life. so they're all me, different parts of me, none of it fake, regardless of name or origin.

sorry for ranting, just something i feel strongly about. names are powerful things, we put into them all that a thing represents. when talking to my boyfriend about you guys and stuff i do on here, for abby, we refer to myself in the third person - gabrielle's one sexy chicka, she's gonna do another video, etc :P maybe that's just me being odd, who knows. i refer to myself in the third person sometimes just because i can! yeah, definitely odd...

Gabrielle, you have just stated a profound truth in life (really!!).
At dire peril of pomposity toxicity, I dare to reveal :eek:The Real Secret Of Life:eek:: there are no secrets!!
variant A on TRSOL: this is it, there is nothing else!! I'm not kidding!!
variant B on TRSOL: all objections to variant A are delusory.
1st corrolary to TRSOL: barring devastating events, you won't feel much different at mid-thirties, mid-forties, etc.
2nd corrolary to TRSOL: but many other people won't understand that and will treat you differently. Ignore them totally!!
3rd corrolary to TRSOL: keep the few that don't treat you differently.
4th corrolary to TRSOL: eventually there's an event, whether devastating is up to you, mostly.
5th corrolary to TRSOL: always very odd indeed.
6th corrolary to TRSOL: don't listen to anyone who reveals the secret of life, esp. the real one. and especially a forum writer you will never know.
7th corrolary to TRSOL: "it's odd. I'm in my mid-fifties. very odd indeed,"

Ahhh. Julian Rotter (1966) devised a locus of control (http://www.dushkin.com/connectext/psy/ch11/survey11.mhtml) personality test to assess the extent to which an individual possesses internal or external reinforcement beliefs.
I scored a 95 on this one. High score does not make anyone better, just tells you how you approach life. It is like the well known personality formula, Myers Briggs in a way...

Your Non-Virgin Purity Test Results

You answered "yes" to 21 of 100 questions, making you 79.0% sexually pure (21.0% sexually corrupt); that is, you are 79.0% pure in the sex domain.
Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 10%, based on a comparison of your test results with 859283 other submissions for this test.

And such an attractive lurker, too! How delicious!

Okay, I need an opinion, if I may...I had a visit at work today from my fabulous Australian friend, Cherry, who has just returned from a four and a half month holiday (or walkabout, rather? I'm still trying to get my Aussie terms straight...) -- anyway, Cherry brought me wonderful chocolates (Galaxy, Bounty, Caramel :D ) but the first words out of her mouth to me were, "So, ******* (my real name censored), what's with the bondage gear?" -- referring to the handcuffs I have on my motorcycle jacket. And I got to thinking about the purity test again and I was wondering, am I really as kinky as people perceive me to be?

Anyway, that's not the question, just the set up...

Hear ye! Hear ye! All rise -- Judge Gabrielle presiding! (or should that be magistrate? I really gotta do some research...LOL)

So here it is...I was thinking about the S&M questions on the purity test...wondering if I cheated myself out of a couple of points because I don't view myself as really having a predilection for S&M...HOWEVER, what would spanking or hair pulling be considered? S&M? General kinkyness? TMI, perhaps? LOL

I'd love any and all opinions...

Oh, and I was curious about something you said in another thread (http://forums.abbywinters.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=5338)a while back...

i have been known to be described as cute or sexy, but oddly i find i seek 'pretty' the most. i was a bit of a tomboy as a teenager and missed out on a lot of the pretty things - i've never liked pink or dresses or girly things.

Are you saying that you still don't like girly things, or that you wish that you were more into dresses and such? I think you're very pretty and you'd look stunning in a dress! I've always found you to be very feminine in just your mannerisms and the ways you look at your partners in your videos. i have only started wearing skirts (usually short-short ones because i'm more comfortable with sexy than pretty, for some reason) in the last year or so.

Yay for skirts! :D I love skirts, I really do...short ones, long ones, frilly, denim, leather...everything! I especially like the skirt you wore in your shoot with Jamie. It looked really comfortable.

i don't much like dresses, unless they're formal. casual dresses don't do it for me - but skirts, yes.

I was picturing formal when I mentioned how stunning you'd look...it would be really fun to see you all dolled up! *hinthint* ;)

i have at various times felt quite masculine in my likes, thoughts, ways i do things - but at the same time, as you say, do have very feminie qualities. meh, i dunno. just me growing up maybe :)

You know, it's funny...I feel like I'm going the other direction sometimes. I grew up super-super-girly, probably because of my background in ballet and figure skating. Now, don't get me wrong...I'm still really girly -- even my frilliest of friends are always like, "OMG, you are SUCH a girl!" LOL -- but as I get older I feel more, not masculine really, but more like I can allow myself to be less girly, if that makes sense. Like that pressure to be ultra-feminine isn't really there anymore as I gain more control over my life. I just feel more like myself these days, which is a really wonderful thing :)

i went to a wedding last weekend, and will try and dig up a photo of me there at some point too :D i really need more current photos...

That would be fantastic to see a recent formal picture of you! I love weddings...I went to one last year and I had a bit of a clothing malfunction...LOL I was wearing this beautiful gold dress but I didn't have very good shoes to go with it so I went with a pair that I hadn't worn in a while. Bad idea. During the reception I wanted to take my shoes off and realized that there was dirt in the toe, so my hosery got all muddy. So I had to lose the pantyhose...and was I wearing panties as well? Of course not. So I spent the rest of this wedding barefoot with no panties! LOL Don't know what compelled me to tell that story, but hey...where else am I gonna tell it? :p
