just popped by to see how my favourite site was going, and check out your response to my latest shoot. well, whaddya think?

as abby said in another thread, we did a bit of a rush job at the end so there's not as many pics in there that we'd have liked, but i thought what we got was really nice. i actually like the look and feel of this shoot better than the first one (when i had horrible faded hair! :eek: ) as you can see, i've gone back to my natural dark brown recently, and grown it pretty long.

and! since the shoot, i even got a cute little fringe cut! (i haven't even told abby that yet... hope i don't get in trouble :P )

dave: my course is going great, i'm really loving it. this year i'm majoring in 3d modelling and animation, and also interactive multimedia. i took a few years off after high school before going to uni to figure out what i wanted to do, and i'm glad i waited (the course is pretty new). i'm a scientifically-minded girl, but also have been really creative all my life, with writing and drawing and making things. so this is perfect.

i use maya, and don't have any experience with any other programs. i really like it, and it's industry standard in a lot of places. i've heard that bryce 3d is quite simple to use. any 3d program is going to be challenging to learn by yourself, though, so be prepared for spending a long time figuring it out!

i think you can tell a lot about a person from just a photograph, especially one where they're as exposed as we models are. there's not much you can hide when you're not even hiding your body! your reading is pretty accurate :)

You should do an ISM if youve got the time. I love the closeness and intamacy of those photo's. Ofcourse some people like to reserve that for their own relationship.
Do you sometimes find it difficult to reconcile this work with your own private love life. It must be good to really enjoy your work and have someone at home who loves you. I was looking back at your shoot with Jamie (memories are made of this-unforgettable), and you had a little red in your hair, witch was good. But I'm an old fashion person, from another generation, and not quite comfortable with flashy hair, but black hair with patches might be good. Anyway, when I look at you (with delight) it's not necessarily what I put my attention to, if you know what I mean.:o In any case, every time I can admire you, in whatever color, has to be good. But please do not change the color, anywhere else.:)

Where did you get your goth inspiration from and how much of your life does it influence? I am going to date myself by telling you I took on to it with Bauhaus and Peter Murphy etc when they were just beginning (turned 40 this year)...the grandfathers of Goth. I still love going through the archive music and pissing my neighbours off once and a while. Actually, there is a CD out there called Music for Vampires that is EXCELLENT background dinner music and when I have a dinner date, it is the first thing that is on during dining. (Mercury Records) and my dates have been non-goth and love it. Call it Goth Cathedral.
Getting back to the point, it would be nice to see you in a "Deviations Video" such as the famous Petra and Susie (May 29 2004) video with Love and Rockets "Saudade" playing in the background! Yeah, Abby may say it has been done before, but not like you could do it!

randomthoughts: when i was a teenager i was interested in... alternative stuff, i suppose. i wasn't very popular at school, so was inspired to look at other ways to have fun and friends than the 'fashionable'. i started to go out with an old friend who happened to have some gothy friends, and i fit right in! i love going out to the clubs and dressing up, but day-to-day i dress pretty normal and rarely wear makeup - it's something i do to have fun, rather than a lifestyle choice, i guess.

No you look great as you are, don't even think about it. I've got a talent for unintentionally creating embarrassing situations. It's something your born with I think. It's about cumulative errors of judgement. I can't do any sort of accounting without massive errors, and I can't even keep a car in a straight line. Gabrielle... you beautiful, luscious hunk of femininity... sigh... I just finished reading the first three books of J. Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear series (on your recommendation, course), and this last one, The Mammoth hunters was one of the hardest books I've ever read through! I mean, wow. As lusty as I am here (admittedly), sex is also very much a spiritual and sacred act for me, so I could relate to Jondalar completely in that aspect. The whole loving and worshipping of the Goddess was great to read.

Unfortunately, Jondalar wasn't exactly as knowledgable about women emotionally and mentally, and the whole lack of communication and, of course, the excruciating torture that resulted in their relationship because of it, pretty much killed me. I felt every nuance of that pain he felt, I mean, how could I not?!? And how could anyone not love Ayla?? She's so fantastically beautiful and smart and spirtual and sexy and just cool as all hell!... sigh...

Anyway. Just wanted to let you know you got me into all this, gorgeous! And I don't know whether to thank you or spank you... or both! =]

I had an excellent time doing it, I hope that came across :) We also did a (gasp!) pee shoot! This was so hilarious, I couldn't stop giggling! I've never done that before, it was an experience, alright! It's not something you get to do everyday. How many of you like the pee shoots? I find them so funny, and it's an extremely intimate thing to do.

We did a couple other shoots too that haven't been released yet, so there's plenty yet to come :P

Yes, I think that may be part of the attraction - a degree of power-play. Also, it's just so damn naughty and unlike most things where there's potentially a subdom element, no special equipment is required. (Personally speaking, as soon as someone fetches out rubberwear, handcuffs etc etc etc, I lose the ability to take the matter seriously :) ).

PS - that was a hell of a volume of pee there, Gabrielle. I guess that water on the table during the shoot on the couch came in useful...

An upgraded internet connection would be a given since AW raw shots are around ~ 3-6 GB per shoot zipped ....so you do the figures. Personally I would ike to know how the f*** she would be affording the bandwidth

.....here in Australia I pay $AUD $130 per month for 40 GB traffic, (yes, we get MAJORLY ripped off on bandwidth costs f***ing Telstra :mad: ) but for me that is written off as a business expense....which I am not sure if Gab could do......

but I am curious if she managed to get ab to pay the $ 5,000 for a spanky new Mac....which is of course course required to even sort pics properly... :D:D

(Just checked my bill - I didn't get the monitor deal when I signed up, but I pay $24.00/Month for 3 years...)

We have one major telco (and some other smaller ones) that controls most of the broadband infrastructure so, they essentially set the prices for bandwidth (wholesale anyway) , so we are (relatively) at their mercy :mad:

Just ask Vid Dude what the AW office broadband costs are.....probably a lot more than mine.....

We are paying through the nose, for what should be extraordinary speeds. But we aren't getting too much of a benefit from it really.

I use iiNet at my home, which costs less than, and is just as fast as, here at work.

Don't know if I agree with you there Vid I can only get a max 1.5 meg at work (gov department) here in Melbourne and in other places around Australia I hear they can get 2 meg +

.......but in my opinion it's not worth the price we're paying......

Out of interest, do you have a peering arrangement in Melbourne between local ISPs, like we have WAIX (http://www.waia.asn.au/waix/) in Perth?

Most Perth ISPs that are on WAIX usually don't apply as stringent bandwidth restrictions (eg. larger or no download caps) for traffic that stays within the WAIX network, as opposed to interstate or overseas-bound traffic; it's helpful when you're doing large local client-to-client transfers (ie. offsite backup/transfer, downloading off a Perth FTP mirror, etc).

Surely it didn't 'just happen'...? My only reservation about the whole thing is that it seemed a bit one-sided... Also (and I know it was one of the older videos) there seemed to be a fair bit of cutting between one vid and the next - we missed the panties coming off, which I always think is a desirable feature of GG shoots. But, hey... overall, it was smokin' hot. I must have a look at your solo IM, too.....
