Hi guys! Thanks heaps for the messages and compliments, they were great to read! I just viewed your new videos. I found all three to be imaginative. Well guys, things have certainly gotten more interesting for me lately! I'm certainly of the understanding that many women like sexually explicit material designed to produce arousal (i.e. porn), but one often hears that 'mainstream' porn is strongly targeted at male viewers. By this I guess I mean that in a lot of porn the attractiveness of the male performers seems to be of little importance (I would assume that straight women porn consumers would want the men to be of at least average attractiveness), a lot of porn concentrates on male pleasure as the 'end result', etc.

Of course, as I said, this doesn't account for individual tastes. It's very true that most mainstream porn producers "target" male viewers for their product, but I suspect the main resaon for that is that most mainstream porn producers are male themselves and haven't thought to realize that women can get turned on too. Frankly, that 2-on-1 double penetration scenario is seen as seriously hot and quite arousing by many women [including me, as well as Anneke]. Heck, what woman who's into her own sexuality wouldn't like to fantaize about being done by two studly guys at once? well, I guess, that's mostly straight women, though I'm not straight and it turns me on. That's been my experience too, but, as Peter and Anneke both say, one gets past that. Tastes change over time. Hey guys guess what?? This weekend I’m doing my self-video, which I will direct and star in myself…so it will be Anneke all the way.

I have some cool ideas which I think will work really well and am so excited about showing you all what sort of things I like to do on the weekend. Well guys, Verity's farewell party on friday night was almost too big for me to handle. At least for me I think it's similar -- that we're seeing something that's usually secret and hidden, and the mechanics are so different that than what we guys do. I was never into the peeing thing until Abby started running her shoots of it, then I got a lot more interested. Really good erotic fiction is almost as rare as good porn, but there's some good stuff out there. Like everything else, it's a matter of taste, but recommendations always help. First of all, there are some better publishers than others... the Black Lace series and Blue Moon titles are highly recommended. Black Lace is a modern series, supposedly "written by women for women"... yeah, like guys aren't reading, too... The concept is plot-oriented erotica, a la Anais Nin, etc. The best book from this series that I've read is "The Captive Flesh" by Cleo Cordell... terrific stuff (accidentally wrote "stiff" at first...). Bought plenty of other books by the same author... all bad... but that one is very fine. The Black Lace series in general is a mixed bag... some are great, others flat, but usually there's something interesting in each one. There's at least some quality control with the publisher/editors. Blue Moon is also a good series, reprints of older work, sometimes much older... but quite interesting, too! If you ever read "The Story of O" and wondered (as I did) "so where's all the hot sex?" read instead "The Ravishing of Lesley" or "Lesley" in an earlier print (published by Blue Moon). This one is dark... one of the few erotic books to spook me (and I don't spook out much reading a book), but the writer bravely explores dark avenues of enslavement that go way beyond camp literature, and which become necessary to the plot in achieving very erotic pairings and trios. Lastly, try "Nina Foxton" by Titian Beresford (what a great nom de plume!), long out of print and just a little campy, but great story of a female dominatrix in Victorian England.

This is a very creative idea... and, yes, you need the right chemistry to do it justice. If you could find the right pair, a double IM with each reading to the other would work very nicely. Do let us know what you thought of Henry and June, the book. The movie, I agree, was strangely inert and unerotic. A better effort at portraying Anais Nin's work on screen was Zalman King's "Delta of Venus," which enacted a number of her stories as little erotic vignettes, as the main plot centered around a young woman's attempt to write erotic fiction for an anonymous patron (the actual situation in which Nin worked). The movie is soft-core cable-porn, but well done and the actors really get into it. Whatever you think of Zalman King, he creates a wonderful setting of decadent Paris, not probably as it was, but as we might like it to be!

Henry Miller's work, I recall, being a total turn-off (I'm thinking of Sexus, Nexus--never looked at the two Tropics novels). Miller is what D.H. Lawrence must have been thinking about when he labelled pornography "putting dirt on sex." Miller always finds some way to make sex disgusting and sordid. He comes straight out of that era when it was thought manly to throw a woman on a table, lift her skirt, unzip, stick your wanker in for 10 seconds or so, finish, and throw her out the door... Yeesh! Lawrence, of course, never thought his own work pornographic. He felt that work that celebrated the eroticism and the beauty of sex should be completely distinguished as its own genre. Cleverly, he defines anyone who treats sex as dirty as a pornographer. In his view, Henry Miller and Marquis de Sade are pornographers, but so are holier-than-thou moralists who can't see sex as anything but sinful. I think that's a clever idea, and pretty accurate.

I like to consider things I haven't tried and fantasise about things I may never try, and knowing this makes me feel adventurous enough without having to go down avenues which are too confronting to me at the moment as a girl in her early twenties.

Hi, Anneke... Hope your reading continues profitably... After thinking on this thread, I remembered the one work by Marquis de Sade that actually seemed to generate some real eroticism. So much Sade goes on and on and on... he seems very passionate about his philosophy of crossed boundaries, it's just that he doesn't make it very interesting. The one exception is definitely "Philosophy Of the Bedroom" [or "in the Bedroom"]. In that work, Sade actually seems to be making sense... that desire must transgress in order to be satisfied, and the plot of an education/seduction/corruption of a young maiden is interesting and erotic. Sade wouldn't be Sade, though, if he didn't go overboard, so he ends with the arrival of the girl's mother [NB: don't be a parent or an authority figure in Sade's fiction!], who must receive her requisite punishment/rape... but it doesn't spoil the first part

Do tell us if your ideas about reading/roleplaying in a vid ever come to fruition, so to speak... O, and thanks for the cute respelling of my handle... sounds very Continental/Mediteranean...

And Vaxalon, thanks for the link... I actually liked the summer camp story... very nice incest theme, which is great stuff for fiction. Most of us have no interest in the reality, but I have to confess a certain curiosity in reading about others. So many of us grow up with a huge crush on a friend's mom or dad... those are great stories, too, and that nick scipio seems to have tapped into that a bit.

The only problem with internet erotica is that sometimes it's nice just to have a plain ol' book in hand...
