Hi fallon!, vids were great, well done for not falling to a hideously embarrassing death from a tree :) Sounds like you've had sex everywhere. Your proffessional dancer quality moves are the boat and going down the stairs, and grapevines :)
Infact you've already won an award.

I feel so honoured to have been nominated for an award... thank you all!
In response to your question, blissed, the tree ended up as woodchips...a 400 year old tree, one of the most beautiful things you will ever see, it makes me cry. And then!!!! We export the woodchips to Japan, they make it into paper and we buy it back off them!!! Grrrrr it makes me SO cross...Anyway so no, in the end we didn't manage to save that particular piece of forest.

As a matter of fact hun, I have done a couple more shoots since then... but you'll just have to wait til Abby decides to put them up. The woman's cheeky... she'll leave you hanging for as long a she can! Now listen up people... I have some news. I have temporarily, and hopefully soon, permanently been employed by Abby to work with Matilda as her assistant... how great is that!!!I'm really enjoying the behind the scenes work, and Matilda and I have great fun together, and besides all that, I come into contact with SOOOO many hot chicks throughout the day, so I'm one happy woman! Plus, it will be much easier for me to post now, so I'll be able to have more contact with all you gorgeous folk. Its all coming up Fallon!
Its a crazy time of life at the moment... Alot is changing really fast. I just moved house, broke up with my boyfriend, and now I've got this new job. And the crazy thing is, everyone I speak to is going through huge changes themselves. Have you guys experienced anything massively life changing recently? I personally blame the stars. There must be some sort of retrograde action or something. What do you think?

Well, I've had to deal with more than the usual number of shoplifters, idiots, illiterates, people who can't read "no smoking" signs, people who can't understand a simple sentence, and generally unpleasant folks at work lately, so I was thinking it might be something in the water...
(Aside from people at work, though, my life is dull - no moves, no breakups (and nothing to break up from in the first place), nada. I could use a little crazy.)
Hope the new job goes well for you - sounds like you're already excited and having fun! Can't wait to hear what you get up to at AWHQ, or what you can do to top that fire-engine red...

Hey nice to see you, hope you get to stay in your new job. It'll be good for them to have super fit fallon dancing round the office :) Yes you would think that connections between events are random, like the first strike of a snooker ball that sends all the other balls hitting against each other and firing off in random directions. We tend to see patterns in everything as a way of detecting and avoiding impending danger and sometimes like the best laid plans can go astray, events seem to happen in a slightly less than random way, as if what you have planned isn't quite the best for everything else, and you tend to think, is this a way that the earth and it's life has sustained in equilibrium for millions of years. Well thats the thought for the day anyway :) and now I'm late.
Anyway Pips, nice to see you posting :)

Interesting thoughts blissed, got me thinking... If everything is going to happen exactly as it should anyway, if everything is already mapped out before us... how in control of our own destiny are we?
I like to think that every decision I make, every step I take is my own... But how many of our decisions are influenced by those around us, how many thoughts do we have that are just subliminally there through advertising etc... how influenced are we by outside presence?
Its really unempowering to think that maybe we are simply a product of everything thats around us and we are just following blindly some predestined path, but is this the case? Hmmmmm...:confused::confused:
abbyfanuk
2nd May 2006, 10:37 AM
The problem with predestination is that people theorise that attempting to exercise their free will would not have any effect on their destiny - as an example, let's say I feel my destiny is to go to Australia tomorrow, and so I theorise that punching the airport security guy on the nose will not affect that if everything is predestined. However, I get sent to jail for assault. So, have I proved my theory, or was my hypothesis erroneous, and would my true destiny have been to serve a couple of weeks for assault?
This is where it gets awfully knotty. I really shouldn't be engaging in debates like this on my day off, but then, I always try to believe three impossible things before breakfast... speaking of which, off to the kitchen before my inner monologue puts on an Aberdeen brogue and starts screaming "Cap'n, Ah canna change the laws o'metaphysics!!"

It's not that I think things are predestined or mapped out, it's just that sometimes I get the feeling that events are manipulated by something other than human intention.
You see all of life on earth seems to function like a huge mechanism in equilibrium and without equilibrium a machine won't function and quickly dies. Or to put it another way, it's like a business thats been going for 3.8 billion years and has never ever gone bankrupt, but has in fact actually expanded, Now that doesn't really seem possible without it being a very intelligent system, almost right from the start. and by that I mean it doesn't just throw up random mutations in the hope that it will confer a small advantage to a species, but I think it can tend to throw up mutations in response to changed circumstances, and I have a hunch it can intervene, and subtly influence events to it's advantage. How it does this, I have absolutely no evidence for :) I rest my case :)

Hey I like the new avatar :) I think Liandra told me on another forum about a film called 'What the bleep? down the rabbit whole' That may fill some of the big knowledge gaps I have about quantum physics myself. I haven't managed to see it because I haven't got a cinema in my town, (or anything in my town, :) thats one of the reasons I post so much) so I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. But the trailer is really interesting ( it's 10 mins long though, so I don't know how much time you've got to see it at work) Anyway it actually covers the point I was making about some mechanism being aware of our intentions, which may give it the information to manipulate events.
Anyway I'm just looking again at your avatar.

This is my problem with a lot of this. It took me a while to understand it when I read the above link and I didn't like the fact it involves killing a cat, but it was conceived in 1935. It's what the slit experiment set out to enquire into. Be nice to know if another experiment is planned to answer the questions created by the slit experiment itself.
abbyfanuk
5th May 2006, 09:12 PM
See, that's the thing. It doesn't necessarily involve killing the cat. ;)
The question is, who is responsible if the cat dies - the person who set up the apparatus, or the person who opened the box and therefore collapsed the overlaid waveform of quantum probabilities to resolve the cat's two possible states?
(Now there's a thorny ethical problem for you...)

As a professional philosopher, I can hardly object to philosophical reflection on the metaphysical implications of quantum physics. But please, please, please leave such reflection to people who are experts in both quantum physics and metaphysics. These questions are far too complicated to be judged by laymen (including me as a moral philosopher).
blissed
6th May 2006, 02:05 PM
I didn't know you were a professional philosopher, how do you make money from it, do you teach it. In the proccess of learning about something, your going to slowly form an opinion until you eventualy are an expert. and at the beginning of that proscess your opinions are likely to be pretty rubbish, and perhaps mine probably are, but it's a creative proscess. If I taught quantum physics, I'd want as many people to be interested in it as possible. The field is so open to question and so undiscovered, which makes it fascinating. My own personal opinion is that there is no expert view in philosophy because it seems totally subjective. It's not like studying another species, in philosophy we're studying ourselves, so I think it's impossible to be objective. I think it's nice to think creatively about subjects that fascinate me and to do it on an Amourous site is fantastic. Because people often tell me they think people who model naked are stupid, and it's obvious they have no respect for them, and all I have to do is send them a link to many of the threads here and they tend to change their minds instantly, which is a great feeling.

I didn't know you were a professional philosopher, how do you make money from it, do you teach it.
Moral philosophers are employed to solve medical dilemmas and to codify the ethical issues that seem to arise almost on a daily basis. With medical knowledge increasing in leaps and bounds the demand for moral philosophers is now greater than it has ever been.

Thanks Mrs Roops. I'd just like to add that if anyone out there is lurking and wants to talk to Fallon you don't have to talk about any of this, you can just talk about anything you like. Most, though not all Models speak threads develop into say 7 people talking to the person who models and then she answers each person individually, so you sort of end up with 7 seperate conversations anyway. So if you like Fallon and I don't know anyone who doesn't, and you want say something, feel free to just make a post about anything you like.

If their perception of the truth is correct and something is dangerous and they've avoided it, they survive, but if their perception is incorrect, they die. and OMG when I think of all those poor stupid hedgehogs that fall asleep on a busy road, it breaks my heart, but don't forget we're not all like that. Hey dude... I may not know much about quantum physics. However I won't ever learn anything about it if I don't read books (written specifically in layman terms so people like me can understand them) or have conversations with friends and other people who are interested, and just because I'm not a learned student of the subject does not mean I haven't the right to philosophise or discuss these topics and form opinions about them. The more people who wouldn't normally think about these things are subject to the information, think simplified things, such as what the bleep do we know etc, the more wide spread the information will be and therefore the smarter and more aware people will become, which I personally think is a very good thing.

Be nice to know if another experiment is planned to answer the questions created by the slit experiment itself.
If the interference patterns are caused by virtual photons from parallel universes, then, The quantum theory of parallel universes is not the problem, it is the solution. (http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/David_Deutsch)
According to David Deutsch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Deutsch)
blissed
16th May 2006, 03:42 PM
Ooooh I just had a thought. I don't really understand how parallel universes exist, but I thought I'd create a mental picture onto which I could attach the explanation if and when I do understand it.
Imagine you place your hand on a table. You can't push your hand through the table, because it's solid. But imagine you can shrink down so small that you can pass through, in between the individual atoms that make up the wood. Now shrink down further so that the atoms are the size of planets and we're told you'll find yourself immersed in something that looks like boiling water, a mass of bubbling fast moving activity. A bit like the noise you see on a TV when an analogue TV signal is tuned out and there's no TV station.
So, the noise pattern on the screen is the bubbling fabric of the universe, and the channels are the different universes. We know how the specifics of how TV channels are tuned in, but we don't know the specifics of how universes are tuned in, so trying to understand all the theories and experiments that try and prove them is whats so interesting.
Your probably better off not seeing your newsletter then if it inhibits you Fallon. but watch it in a few months time when your more confident, you've got a good personality so if your honest and don't try and act it'll work. Even if your nervous and mess up it's fun so it's still gonna work. It's only gonna be seen by a bunch of wankers anyway :) Yay wankers pride!!!!! :)

My interest is simply layman's curiosity, but I found the following fascinating:
1 The Fabric of Reality
David Deutsch / Penguin Press
2 The Matter Myth
Paul Davies and John Gribbin / Simon and Schuster
3 The Fourth Dimension and how to get there
Rudy Rucker / Penguin
4 The Presence of the Past
Rupert Sheldrake / Collins
3 and 4 are helpful in opening the " doors of perception " to 1 and 2, although 4 does tend to cause irrational hostility in some readers. :)

...I really don't think anyone can say they truely grasp the concept of quantum physics... Can anyone recommend any books that I could read to help me???
Try In Search of Schrodinger's Cat: Quantum Physics And Reality by John Gribbin. I read it years ago and found it fascinating. It's for someone interested in science but not a scientist.
If you want something more in depth but still accessible for a non-scientist, there's Who's Afraid of Schrödinger's Cat? An A-to-Z Guide to All the New Science Ideas You Need to Keep Up with the New Thinking by Ian Marshall, Danah Zohar.
You know that you climbed sky-high on my list of favorite models with your interest in this. I think intelligence in women is really desirable.

I think intelligence in women is really desirable.
It's one of my three essential criteria! (Well, five if you count being single and having a pulse...)
Intellectual stimulation is a much-ignored concept, especially among most of the people I've known over the years. As someone who considers himself to be intelligent, literate and cultured, I think it's important to find a woman who's the same - even if cultural tastes or interests run in different directions, which makes it even more interesting (trying new things together!).
That and not smoking, but that's harder to find than natural blondes. I swear, it's time for me to move...

Thanks for all the reading material guys, I'm heading to the library tomorrow... I'll get back to you all about more opinions and ideas when I'm a little better read on the subject. So anyway I went with Susie today to shoot a whole bunch of IM's, which was really cool coz I've never seen them before and got me to thinking... At first I thought there was no way I could do one, but after hearing that you can use toys and whatever other stimulation you may need I thought, hmmmm. I could do that. And it was also a really good opportunity for me to watch Susie do her thing with the lights and stuff. The girl is good!! I'm really missing Matilda around the office, but I think in terms of my professional development, Susie might be a better person for me to work with anyway, just coz it was too easy for Matilda and I to get sidetracked and forget about the job at hand. I really admire the way Susie works and she has ALOT to teach me. And... guess who did the video newsletter today??? Back by popular demand... TowelBoy you'll be stoked:)

Thanks for the advance news ... Just speak calmly when recording them and you'll be fine.
Don't feel that you need to rush. That's the secret to all public speaking.
I'm pretty sad about Matilda's departure ... she is a one off.
You'll have to step into her shoes ... so to speak.
Good luck.

Hi, Fallon,
In Gillians thread you mentioned that you really liked Palahniuk's book Choke. So I took a look at it.
OMG. He's like Tom Robbin's evil twin. The same love of the language, the same clever and jarring word usage.
But the story line is so dark and foreboding! Robbins has a positive outlook on humanity and Palahniuk is so so negative -- at least up to page 10, which is how far I've gotten.
Anyhow, thanks for the heads-up. Looks like I'm going to read the sucker.

I'm so glad I got you onto it! He's definately one of my favourite authors, I love the darkness of his style... but then I've always really loved depressing things... for example, my favourite movie of all time is requiem for a dream... have you seen it? Its the kind of movie that sends chills down your spine and stays with you for weeks after watching it. Its strange, I'm such a happy person, don't know why morbid things fascinate me so much:confused:

its amazing how much variation there is between every girls and their breasts/nipples...... i used to be under the assumption that we were all similar in that department (well apart from SIZE!) so its been a real eye opener to see "puffies" big nipples, little nipples (like mine :)) and now goosebumpy nipples! wowsers!

You're right about the female form - hell, the human body is beautiful, period. Renaissance artists knew it; the Greeks knew it; those weird guys who did medieval anatomical art (some of it pretty gruesome - dissections, flensing, and all that jazz) knew it, though I think they got the message a bit wrong.
From what I've seen of ISM samples around the net, the best bit is that it lets the models express themselves however they want, which is no bad thing - and face it, who wouldn't want to showcase themselves in their own unique way?
fallon
25th May 2006, 02:21 AM
Yeah, exactly. What I loved about doing ISM is that I had complete control over what I shot and how. It was my own personal project that I could then share with the world. It really blurs the lines between art and porn, doesn't it? What I want to know is, when does the artistic appreciation of the human form become pornography?
blissed
25th May 2006, 03:34 AM
I think theres your subconscious sexual arousal thats barely under your control and riding on top of that :) is your conscious mind, that likes to be stimulated with colour, diferent sorts of light and shadows and shapes. So they both happen together. Theres also an emotional response to the percieved intimacy of many of the pics in self shoots. So it all happens together.
Sexually arousing images aren't evil, their nice. So they don't have to be excused by pretending to be art. Even when their revolting to me there arousing somebody else so their not doing anyone any harm. Quite the reverse their doing someone good.
The issue isn't with the aesthetics, it's how you make the images, it's about your business practices, much the same as when you make clothes. Do you exploite financially desperate people or do you have some sort of ethics.
If the subject of the work isn't respected, even in quite extreme consentual fetish fantasy. I'm not only out of there I'm emailing the internet watch foundation :) http://www.iwf.org.uk/ The reality is it's dificult to make good amourous erotic images with out paying people quite good money (£40 an hour UK and I have a feeling thats cheap) and having artistic talent.
Making love, wanking, amourous and erotic fantasies and images are like music, something really good.
This has been my manifesto :)

I've been so busy posting on the other threads I've kind of neglected my own... but here I am ready to regale you with fantastic stories of wonder and adventure!! Nah not really:)
So here's some stuff that's going on with me at the moment....
I did my T3 with Shane the other day and my GOD... I knew I was in for a treat but I didn't quite realise how much of a treat... did that girl show me a thing or two! She's so amazing...*sigh*...
I'm in the middle of looking for a new house, AGAIN! I just want to find somewhere quiet and settle down, all this excitement is too much for me. I think I'm ready to have babies and marry a rich man;)
I'm coming along quite well with shooting the videos and still loving it, Susie's great fun to work with, but she's off on a trip in a couple of weeks and then I'll be left all on my own:eek: but I think I'll be right...
What else? Hmmm...
I'm sworn off partying for a month, too many hangovers and crazy nights out have taken their toll and its time for me to hibernate and get geared up for summer... bring it on! So it'll be quiet dinner parties with friends for a while I think...
And that's my life in a nutshell! Fascinating huh? Has anyone got any stories/jokes/good books or cd's to recommend?

Good movies, huh? The trick is that most of the stuff I've seen isn't out in Australia yet. Have you seen Cars or Pirates of the Caribbean yet? Pure fun, those. The best movies I've seen so far this summer are documentaries -- An Inconvenient Truth and The Heart of the Game especially, but again, they're not out there yet. I liked "Thank You for Smoking" a lot. The actors were very engaging, and it had some very funny parts.
I saw Pirates of the Carribean and I thought it was a chore... too much ugly stuff, and the Johnny Depp part wasn't nearly as funny and loveable as the first movie. Also, everyone mumbled and I couldn't understand the plot.
Yeah, World Trade Center is about 9/11. The reviews I've seen say it's a very well-made movie but very conventional for an Oliver Stone movie. (I thought his JFK was one of the best movies I ever saw.)
The movie I'm looking forward to is Little Miss Sunshine.

I'm a bit concerned about seeing a movie made by Americans about 9/11. I just have a feeling it would be very one sided, and patriotic, and I don't think I could handle that. It would probably just make me angry.

I doubt this film is based on a children's book. I just saw it last night -- very funny by the way -- and it's about a little girl and her wacky family traveling to a beauty pageant that the girl is participating in. There's some very twisted stuff going on and it gets oddly dark at times, but it stays consistently hilarious.
I'm a bit concerned about seeing a movie made by Americans about 9/11. I just have a feeling it would be very one sided, and patriotic...
I just saw World Trade Center a few days ago also. I haven't completely made up my mind about whether or not this is the story that needs to be told about 9/11. And saying it's about 9/11 isn't completely accurate, either. It mainly focuses on two police officers trapped in the rubble. It's not really patriotic, nor does the film really form a point of view politically. I found the first half hour to be the most effective because it really captured what that day felt like and made me recall some of my own experiences. The rest of the film just hasn't sunken in yet...I'll need to give it more time.
Did you ever get out to a movie like you wanted to last week?

No actually I didn't. I'm pretty hopelesss with things like that. It always seems like a good idea early on in the day, then by the time I'm ready to leave work and it's dark outside, I just want to go home!
It was interesting to hear your view on World Trade Center, and reassuring. I think if they did manage to tell the story well, without any political bias, then they've done well and I will see it. I'd really like to know what that day was like for you? Were you around? Did you know anyone who worked there? I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for me if something of that magnitude happened in Melbourne. It must've been pretty scary for you guys.

Gosh, thank you for asking. It feels like a lot of people are afraid to ask about that day, but I really do appreciate it when someone does. I didn't know anyone personally, but many friends of friends and the husband of an actress I worked with didn't make it out alive. I watched the whole thing on TV and made phone calls to everyone I know. I don't know how I managed to get through to so many people -- the lines were so jammed up -- but I even got a few calls through to Japan! My biggest fear was about a friend of mine who's a flight attendant. I had no idea where she was, but I left a message on her cell...a couple of hours later she called back and was actually in a restaurant just down the street from me! So I rushed over to see her. The whole day was totally surreal. Very, very, very sad. I cried a lot. I made it a point to see a lot of people in the weeks that followed. And I didn't give in to the fear, either. I was on a plane overseas only six weeks later. I'm remembering something now...I actually did know someone who worked in a shop at the Trade Center but I had convinced him to get another job because he was very unhappy. That was only a few weeks before 9/11 -- whoa, that is totally freaky.

Kara, it was interesting to read your experiences about 9/11. It may be little unbelievable but my nephew who lived in NYC then, worked just few blocks away Word Trade Center. He saw both planes, the first one when he was coming from subway and the other when his workplace was evacuated and they just got out. There were some very long hours to wait if he was OK. He was stuck in Manhattan with his girlfriend (now his wife) like thousands other. I think they lived in Queens at that time and he said that they got of Manhattan trough some railway bridge.

Hey Jem!
I really lost it in the face of the beauty and radiance that is Olivia... I had such a huge crush on her and then when it actually came time to do the shoot with her I got soooo nervous and shy! Its really not me at all... as you probably know, Fallon is not really a shy girl:)
So how are you lady? Did you end up making it to Hilltop Hoods?

I'm totally the same way! Normally I'm quite brazen and aggressive, but when I first met my girlfriend of almost three years now, I was a giggly, blushing mess! That's how I know when I really, really like someone...if I'm nervous, I'm in love! :D

Hey Kara whats your girlfriend like?
Aww, thanks for asking, hon! She's incredible...loving, gentle, generous, and so sharp-witted it's scary! LOL She's amazingly talented...wonderful singer, great guitar player, beautiful dancer. She's a little younger than me and completely adorable! I just love her to bits, she makes me so happy :)
Does she know about your love for us here in Abbyland?
Oh, sure! She and I watched my DVD of Gabrielle and Jamie, in fact...that was really fun! :D She's not really into looking at nude modeling the way I am, but I'm always open with her about my interests. She's a very open person herself...I feel quite serene being with someone who I know so deeply <3

Hey I've been watching alot of Sex and the City recently, and I have what might be a pretty stupid question... is New York really like that? I really want to visit there one day, it's definately in my top three of places to visit when I can afford to go overseas. It just looks so exciting!

NY is a funny (strange) place because it is a vibrant city with a life of it's own and at the same time it is like any big city in the world in that it can be like 1880's Dodge City at times. Very dangerous place. You can go to a club, movie, or dinner any time of the night. There is culture and crime. Love and Hate, Joy and Saddness all at the same time. NY is special to the US as evidence of the 9/11 day. To NY and the rest of the country it was like Pearl Harbour all ove again.
You name a sport and NY probaly has it . Modeling, entertainment, ect are all there. People have moved to NY and stayed for years and people have left after only a few days. Fashion and Death. Police sirins and babies laughing.
NY is a wonderful place, rich in history, arts, and such, but like any city care must be taken till you learn where to go and where not to go. You should go there. You will find that NY is not much different than Melbourne in a lot of ways.
KaraZorEl
8th September 2006, 08:09 PM
Walter makes a valid point. Most modern cities are quite similar to one another. When I travel, I much prefer to avoid the major cities if at all possible, unless there's something really important there. Like when I went to Japan, I had very little interest in Tokyo but I absolutely adored the countryside and smaller cities. And I have to strongly disagree that New York is dangerous. I don't care for statistics much, but the most dangerous U.S. city for two years running? Ready for it? Camden, New Jersey! LOL My city doesn't even make the top ten. But that being said, of course there's crime and poverty here...but you're a city girl, Fallon, I know you can handle yourself :)
Now, is New York like "Sex and the City," you ask...well, if by that you mean are there catty women everywhere always talking about their vaginas? Depends on where you go ;) No, seriously...I've lived here my whole life and I still find this place magical. It's true that there's always something fun to do. At least once a week I find myself at a restaurant or the theatre or the ballet. I do love to travel and explore other places, but I couldn't live anywhere else.
Oh, and you asked if my honey is a local singing celebrity...not yet, but she should be! She's still very busy with school and not even sure if singing will be her career, but she sure loves it. She performs when she has the time and she's very laid back about most things.
I noticed somewhere that one of your hobbies is singing and somewhere else you mentioned doing theatre...are these things you still pursue?

Hey guys sorry I haven't been around much lately, been busy and stuff, ya know how it is:)
Where are you going on your holidays stu? I think it's about time I went on a holiday, and now it's warming up it's the perfect time! And I am now the proud owner of a spunky black car, so I will be road trippin all over the place! Yes people, I am mobile! It's actually a scary thing driving, there's a lot of dickheads out there on the roads, so I'm being super careful, just til I get confident... and then... LOOK OUT! Nah, I'm kidding.
On a completely unrelated topic, the other night I went to visit some friends (who live in unbearably messy disgusting house) and while I was there we had a few drinks, as you do, and they were talking about how they wanted to kick out one of their housemates, so me being drunk and not really thinking it through, went, hey I'll move in... so they then proceeded to kick the guy out so I could live there... The thing is I'm a REALLY REALLY clean person, and mess kinda freaks me out... so what am I gonna do? I feel obligated to move in, but I really don't want to... what should I do guys? Help me out here! I have a tendency to tell people what they want to hear and do things for other people even at my own detrement, and its a bit of a problem... I just like making people happy you know?
Frans
16th September 2006, 09:51 AM
I suppose it's to late to claim you "don't remember saying that 'cos I was drunk" ?? :D Don't you have a good place to live at the moment? You could claim you've rented your current place for at least year or so.. Or just tell the truth and say you don't want to live in their house. You got to start sometime doing that anyway, saying things people don't want to hear and such.
If you were to move in to the smelly & messy house one of three things will happen;
1. You'll be miserable and stay in your (clean) room
2. You'll try to clean up the entire house without the other inhabitants helping or even wanting that
3. You'll move back out a month later
Neither of those are good outcomes, so just don't move in :D

Well as long as they keep their part of the house clean that's nice. You've done a good deed then by educating some people into keeping a nice and tidy home :D Just make sure you don't end up keeping the house clean all by yourself!

Yeah its pretty bad. Its not so bad in melbourne although its getting hotter and hotter as the years go by, we still get a fair bit of rain so its easy to forget that most of the country is in drought, but my mum lives in Canberra and its pretty bad up that way, when you drive up there its just dry and brown and dusty the whole way up.Its pretty full on.I think that in a few years time I'm just going to move up to New Zealand where they dont get involved in riduiculous wars and they stay out of all the rubbish. I imagine its like some green lush paradise...
Hey can anyone tell me whats going on with North Korea at the moment (in a completely unpolitically biased and objective manner of course...;))

Hya Fallon, how you're doing ? :)
I'm just going to move up to New Zealand where they dont get involved in riduiculous wars and they stay out of all the rubbish. I imagine its like some green lush paradise...
lol.. that has little to do with getting into wars :) I figured the inlands of Oz always were dry and sandy or is now worse than usual? Best keep your carwindows closed when you cross such terrain :D
Hey can anyone tell me whats going on with North Korea at the moment (in a completely unpolitically biased and objective manner of course...;))
Heh, well in a celebration of their infinite wisdom the North Korean people have succeeded in detonating some nucleair device below ground (can't spend all that money on actually feeding your own people obviously). Latest reports suggest that it didn't work as designed and only the detonator actually worked. They even managed to upset China, one of their biggest allies and food-supplier.
Hmm.. North Korea is a good deal closer to Oz compared to Europe, thats too bad. It's basically two schoolyard bullies out-bluffing the other really, just with somewhat real threats.. silly people.

The drought is pretty full on. Im a country girl myself and i now live in melbourne and it makes me soooooooooooo mad to see so many people wasting water. It's like they don't see so they don't care. We all need water so it should be everyones problem, we should all be doing something to help.

I think that you can never get enough praise when you're trying to undertake a really difficult task, as constructive critisims when you get things wrong, and praise when you get things right are really the only way people learn new things. Pointless putdowns just don't get anyone anywhere, don't you think? Maybe you should pop over to Susie's thread and let her know how well you think she trained me!

Hey I'm back!!! I was struck with a sudden urge this morning to jump back on the boards and say hi to all you gorgeous folk.
How was everyones christmases? I went up to Canberra for a few days to hang with the family then I had to come back for work (besides, 3 days with my family is more than enough thank you very much!) And silly season is in full swing, I feel like I haven't really stopped for the last few weeks, it's exhausting! I think I'm gettting weak in my old age...
But seeing as I'm going back to school in a couple weeks I'm determined to keep pushing myself, coz after this its going to be all study study study, and exciting party Fallon will become boring stay at home Fallon. Ugh I hate that girl!
I am really excited about school actually, its been ages since I have done something that I feel is truely challenging and I'm so ready for it.
Hmmm what else...
Big Day Out was on yesterday, it was fucking awesome, saw my favourite band of all time, Tool... actually didn't reall see them as such but heard them which was almost as good! I'm way too small for mosh pits I just get trampled. I like to think I hold my own though!
I also just saw my IM with Laurins going up soon! Woohoo!
I feel like I've completely fallen out of the loop with the abby winters goss, there's all these sexy new models and staff and the worlds gone topsy turvy! So I've got as fair bit of exploring to do...
See ya later kids!

Hey lorena now I'm so out of the abbywinters loop, tell me, have you done any new shoots recently? And what else is going on for you hun?
I had my first day back at school on tuesday, just like an orientation day thingy, and that was cool... I've decided I'm not going to talk to anyone, I'm just going to put my head down and be really nerdy so I can concentrate otherwise the temptation to fuck around and be a class clown will be too great and I'll screw it up. I was never too good at school, I left really early to travel and basically be a dolebludger and never looked back coz I hated it so much, but now I've found something I'm really passionate about hopefully I'll succeed. I'm a bit nervous though!
