No....no robots. Just a tablet computer (which, as a geek, I've been enjoying getting the chance to play with). The guy I'm working with is really good at his job, but he has learning disabilities that make the paperwork difficult. I wasn't as organized with the training as I would like to have been, but I'm hoping that things will be a little better tomorrow. Planning a side trip on Thursday to go and see my 106 year old cousin, who I haven't seen in about 15 years. I'm hoping that she will be feeling up for a visit.

Now, I should really head off for bed. I mean it this time. I'm really not going to watch the show that just started. Which is a mystery show. Which has already started drawing me in. Will....go....to.....bed.

Mmmyeah I'm not really 100% enthusiastic about the story thread anymore, as you may have noticed. I find it kinda hard to follow especially when new characters are only ever being introduced and then left behind by another...I try not to be too harsh seeing as how its a collaboration, but when it gets too confusing the reader loses interest. So, maybe it was good in theory but too hard in practice...

I hear you on that, Gracie! It was, oh, just a bit hard to follow -- ha-ha!! I spent a good hour, maybe two trying to figure out what in the world was going on in the "Naughty Story"! I had to print the whole thing out and conduct a thorough analysis of all the characters and what their role was and assess their future potential. A lot of work for a little exercise (and no college credit) :D
But, it seemed fun and I'd never written anything "naughty" before. If you read my little section, you'll see that I didn't add any new characters. I just drew from previous information and added a new sequence of events (it was mostly a character development piece -- and quite satisfying at that once it was done!). I personally want this story to make sense and be easy to follow.
If you give it another shot, I won't let you down! I can guarantee that. We just need to lay down a few more ground rules. 1) If someone isn't ready to develop a character, simply draw upon their history. 2) We have more than our fair share of characters present in the story to fill 50 more pages!
Develop and expound! Nothing more. Sound reasonable? If we can all agree on the simple mechanics of the story it will be a fun exercise!

The reason is you are a great starter of threads and there is a question that came to my mind after looking at the "IM:Lottie" thread. I think you are so very right. It's amazing to me it took it took me so long to understand that. It wasn't until I started dabbling in the "Tantric sex" stuff that I began to understand that. Basically we've been going out doing qualatative research with kids and now we're working on the reports...the subject semester has actually ended up but this is a double credit research subject which goes overtime. Basically the reports are due in a few days, and we've been organising and carrying out the research in groups for most of the semester. I've spoken to a lot of three year olds in the last month, haha.

I'm doing a degree in commerce but am taking some psych subjects out of the science programme because I'm vaguely majoring in HR and OH&S policy. I also just enjoy it, and this research although tedious has been fun...its the paperwork I don't like!

Yeah that's so true, I'm glad they're looking into it...I've seen a lot of things that are definately not cool by general workplace standards, but seem to be ok...for example a girl being told she's fat and not to come to work until she's lost weight, or me being ordered to tan and buy a hairpiece before I come back. I would absolutely adore to be paid a wage, especially at those sorts of price ranges, but I think the numbers quoted must be for private strippers at parties rather than 'freelancing' in clubs. I know for a face that private strippers' rates are all over the place from agency to agency, and so I agree that there should be a standard.

Read some Piaget, It's hard to calibrate cognitive development so you can measure your effectiveness as a teacher. I've had a brilliant idea!! :rolleyes: Why don't you record the meeting with your class mates.
If your meeting for an hour, the conversation you have will run into 20 or 30,000 words. usually all on subject.
You could use that as a source for a further section called discussion and analysis.
The AW smartass bit takes you down 132 words. So you need 2,368. I think this is gonna be easy. :cool:

I try and do that but I can't say I'm really always that smart and sometimes something happens to tip the balance and I feel down for a while. I think I'm basically as soft as shit. I suppose I should be more robust but I can never hide my emotions whether I'm afraid or happy or what ever. Well, I don't think there's much sense in trying to compare your trouble to someone elses, because they're not living your life and you're not living theres...I don't think there's a scale of severity of sadness or being down. if you're sad, you're sad and that's just all there is to it, it doesnt matter HOW sad you are or how sad you SHOULD be.
And I know what you mean, when there's no one to shower with affection I feel kind of stagnant and pointless. And I don't think you should hide your emotions either, because people who do that usually dicover they find a way of coming out anyway, be it by having a breakdown, mid life crisis, or general feelings of illness and stomach troubles.

Well, uni is good and bad and then good again depending on what's due when...for the first month its fun and social and interesting and then suddenly the first round of essays are due and then exams and it's just no fun at all. Dancing is at least always constant, ha.
I enjoy hanging out with mates in my downtime the best out of everything. Driving around late at night with the windows down and singing at the top of our lungs, ging to the beach at sunset, generally enjoying the warm summer weather, having a drink at the local grungy bar...just being myself, and not 'being myself' for profit.

I like singing and dancing at work. The guy I work with at the warehouse on Sunday thinks he can rap and his singing is even worse, and I expect my dancing is even worse than that. Well we can cancel the hotel bookings without incuring cost, so thats fine, but we can't cancel the plane tickets without forfeiting half the fair, and I don't think we can cancel the train tickets either but I'll have to have a word with them about that. We can cancel if one of us or a relative becomes ill from a medical condition they didnt have at the time of our buying insurance. And I don't have any brothers so I think that one of them died would be hard to prove, hehe.

I changed it because it was too long. I liked the combination of words and thought they sounded cute, but I was unaware that it was an actual sexual practice.

I don't think I'm a ladies man, though I suppose it makes a change from people thinking I'm a lady, which is what happens occasionally, I was talking to one guy on another forum and he suddenly said "your a women after my own heart"
So I had to just say that I didn't think I was :)
Anyway I think if you like someone, or your fond of them, and they like you back, thats really nice.

Actually I have got another nickname which is Empathy. I don't know if Mels changed it to blissed yet but my profiles the same as here. It's a forum where I'm the only man, and I occasionally give out my expert advice to lesbians (http://www.melswebs.com/generalboards/viewtopic.php?p=13369#13369) which is no more qualified really than it is here, but I find it really interesting. I get some hostility but most people are really nice. that's where I met the Russian girl "ashamed". but I think many people classify themselves too rigidly as lesbian and they'd resolve their apparent confusion if they just loosened up their view of their own sexuality.
Sometimes I meet another guy and think, hey he's nice. But when it comes to touching him I'm repulsed. But on the level of initial atraction I can be drawn to somneone of the same sex. Though it really doesn't happen very often. I'm rambling now, I really should be writing this somewhere else.
but I'm fond of Gracie and I really like Darcy and if that's how you feel about someone, I think you should show it.
