There are things about people you can't know til you've lived with them a while. I can tell you that Gretchen can't play solitaire for shit, Susie sleeps with the light on and Abby only eats things beginning with the letter M. Serena can imitate a car alarm and it sounds exactly like the real thing - but about a gadzillion dB louder.
The shoothaus is a big tropical-style weatherboard on a steep hill in a coastal town known for its beautiful beaches, hippies and drugs. Three quarters of the population are backpackers and the main beach is swarming with gorgeous nymphettes, mostly under 25 and about half topless, which is exactly why we're here.
Susie and Serena arrived early to start the recruitment process and learned pretty quickly that these little communities don't take kindly to being descended upon by travelling pornsters. We've had complaints from the pub and the phone company are threatening to send us a cleaning bill for ripping down our posters, but fortunately there are enough broadminded or broke people to keep us in business. About half the applicants are locals, half are backpackers, and two thirds are horny guys looking for action - Susie gives those guys a verbal cold shower, then more often than not, hangs up and screams "THAT GUY SOUNDS HOT! WHEN ARE WE GONNA START SHOOTING GUYS???"
Which was pretty much Serena's sentiment, for she's a self-confessed cockaholic. She worked hard on keeping the town postered but unfortunately things have been a bit slow otherwise so we kept her amused with Gretchen's all-male nudie card deck for a while (look out for it in a strip-poker shoot) then had to send her home on Sunday. But what you really want to know about, I guess, are the girls we've been shooting. I know Abby has posted a few samples up but the best is yet to come, and I'm not exaggerating when I tell you we have just finished shooting the hottest girl I have ever seen anywhere. Think Hope Sandoval, Phoebe Cates and Betty Page, then switch to a higher universe altogether - this is Petra. After the first shoot was over I whispered to Abby "tonight I'm going to walk up to the lighthouse and hurl my sorry carcass off the bluff" and she knew exactly what I meant, as I'm sure you do. Or will, when these series come out.
And just then, the wheels started falling off. We'd just started shooting an amazing bondage scene (inspired by one of you guys) in a tiny concrete basement under the house when Abby's camera developed shutter problems. Lizzie, another awesome girl who was to be Petra's partner for a girl-girl scene, had shown up on time and we were stranded. To make matters worse we'd already postponed a couple of really promising shoots and tomorrow morning a genuine, bona-fide, straight out-of-the-packet lesbian couple are coming over to do a passionate and explicit scene for us - and here's us up shit creek without a camera. Some frantic phone calls organised a new camera to be flown up from Sydney (at great expense, so keep up those subscriptions!) and as I write, Abby and Susie are driving the 200km (120 mile) round trip to collect it.
So to re-rail the shoot we had to send Lizzie home (but she'll be back), and finished Petra's shoot with the old but reliable Sony camera, which is what half the site content was shot on anyway. We were limited to the built-in flash but it has a wicked macro, and actually suited the dungeon scene very well so the shoot came off okay, and the temporary hiatus in operations allowed me to shoot an hour of video we otherwise wouldn't have had time for, with some interesting results. We were making it all up as we went but hey, give me a subject like Petra, and I'll roll tape of her sleeping if it cost a hundred bucks a metre.
Coming up we have a nude surfing shoot with the delectable 18 yo Emily and some shenanigans with a circus performer that should prove interesting. And we have some great stuff in the can including a music video of sorts, some body painting and even a fanny-fart performance! Unfortunately the no-show rate has been very high up here and nobody was surprised when the Swedish trio didn't front today but hey, Petra redeems all.
Anyway that's it from the shoothaus for now. I hear a bluff calling my name.
