I've always loved Susie, but the kindest thing I can say about this set is, 'unflattering'. The AD Series continues to prove itself completely without value to me.

I think its good for a change to see another style of shoot. Sometimes I feel like a well lit room, but that doesn't have to be the absolute standard. Suzie looks good here. So beautiful. Keep working on different lighting to see what looks best.

Well IMHO this is the best of a poor lot. Good points: lovely model in Susie, good lighting effects and no silly colour effects. Bad points: no interaction with the model (at least on the preview) which makes the video soulless and is very un AW, pretty pointless effect around the edges of the photos which distracts from the model and quality of the photography, taking up a slot for a proper photo set instead of (as promised) having it's own pod so that those that want it can subscribe and those that don't can enjoy the usual fare

I think this was a great set. The best of the AD series so far, though I still enjoyed the Anneke-Giselle T3 minus the scratchy effect. This is what I had in my mind for what the AD shoots were all about. Beautiful models, a little more glammed up, dark yet still beautiful lighting. Susie is gorgeous as always. I don't mind the frame effect on the edges. It doesn't detract from Susie's beauty. No fake-seeming color effects as with Kiki and Kelly M's shoots. Bravo! Y'all really got it right with this one!! I'll reserve judgement on the video until it actually comes out.

I imagine this is still one of the bugs being worked out from the transition to CMS2 last year.

Age listed on shoot-pages is the age when the shoot was shot, not when it is published. After Dark shoots started being done end of 2008, if you read the forums real carefully you might find some hints from models about those early shoots. That should help un-flaw your math

As for the shoot itself, I prefer lighter shoots.. i.e. Susie frolicking in the green fields The stills look a bit dark (as in; to shadowy) to me. I can see why it was done, I just prefer to see more. I'm boring that way Then again, it IS a Susie shoot, which is always a good thing.

Susie was born in 1982, so no underage problem here.
At the moment when this set was shot, she was 26, it's some time ago.

Much better than the other AD sets that have been posted so far.

I know it's supposed to be dark but a bit more light on the model and a bit less on the wall would have made it a lot better.


Still, at least I have 161 really good shots of some tasteless wallpaper.

The video is exceptional, the best of the After Dark series to date. The closeups are outstanding. I especially liked the closeups of Susie's hands playing over that beautiful matching lingerie. Goodness, that may be the hottest lingerie set we've ever seen on AW!

Just curious, if the lighting sucks so bad, why would many of the great artists, cinematographers, and contemporary photographers use that type of lighting (chiaroscuro) for their subjects? Please explain, I may be ignorant on the subject and we could learn much from you?
