    abbywinters.com Launches AW Education.

Life, love, relationships, and sex; all are covered in a new series of informative videos, dubbed ‘AW Ed’ by abbywinters.com. The series features abbywinters.com models, answering topical questions about being a young woman in society today. Released weekly on both the abbywinters.com and YouTube, the no-nude project debuted in early October with “What do girls look for in guys?”. Though only models are featured in AW Ed episodes thus far, as the series progresses it will include women from without the adult entertainment industry.

AW Ed attempts to illuminate the often confusing discussions of sex and sexuality with an informative and wholesome contrast. It establishes another milepost in abbywinters.com’s well established reputation to lead the industry in social responsibility and sex-positive media.

Garion Hall, CEO, explains “We've seen a trend in young men treating their sexual partners like the actors they see in mainstream porn. Sometimes, young women submit to this, because they believe it's accepted and expected behaviour. While it might be fun to watch on DVD’s, it's not always healthy for either participant. So, I hope that AW Ed gives young women a voice, so young men can treat them with the respect they deserve.”

“AW ed was very fun to participate in, as a person who simply enjoys talking, especially about oneself and her opinions” joked model Renae D, who has appeared in AW Ed herself, going further to add “Anything that creates a more complete picture of women in the context of porn is surely a good thing … a porn site can certainly be ethical and sex-positive, and I do think abbywinters.com deserves that label.”

New AW Ed updates interviewing ten or more women are released every Friday on the YouTube channel: abbywinterscom.

ohhh.... so you can confirm that I wasn't going crazy last week when I was able to watch the video on you tube before it was released on here....
Still seems a little wrong to me but at least I'm not going crazy.

Personally, I think as an educational tool it has very little use, females are like snowflakes no one is the same... thus the slightly different answers you get from all the models. But as an AW fan and especially a AW models supporter I very much like it as we do learn a little more about the models and what they this. So will watch them as another form of Question and answer session with AW models.

Good luck with the launch... into You Tube I hope it has it's desired results.

When the models answered the questions, did they know that it would be available outside of AW?

This is great. I was wondering if and when AW would decide to launch a YouTube channel, as doing that will definitely and not only help AW drum up new viewership and awareness of the site, but the theming of AW's new YouTube channel will give viewers an opportunity to hear, from the models, some of the many things that need to be know about relationships, dating, romance, etc.

        Keep up the good work.

I hope you get the chance too. I find you interesting and would love to hear what you have to say about different issues.

By now, please focus on your high-quality, non-kitsch, innovative PORN videos. Maybe AW can be considered outside the porn INDUSTRY, as long as the word INDUSTRY has a pejorative meaning in XXI-century society, associated with the idea of something mass-made, artificial, even noxious. But besides that, this site, up to now, is all about PORN. Whith a different, non-"industrial" look, but still PORN. Nothing but PORN. Just PORN. Nowadays, that´s what I think, after one or two disappointments.

Wanna cut the chains and drive through deep cultural issues? Well, you got the all tools to do that, and your staff is full of people probably willing to go further. But please start doing it here, inside your own walls. Otherwise, these "high purposes" will sound just like a cheap and hipocrite advertisement to attract new members.

ggomesxz, what's wrong with attracting new members? In case it's not obvious, this is a business, not a charity. Like any other business, we have to advertise to attract new members, and we have to evolve our advertising methods as our competitors and the market changes. If we don't we'll go out of business entirely. That being said, we're working to be responsible, and offer some help to men for courting young women, as well as some low-level advertising.

That's nothing new, and won't get in the way of us creating "high-quality, non-kitsch, innovative PORN videos" - if you have specific ideas on what you'd like to see, we'd love to hear from you - there are plenty of places on the site to offer ideas, and we'd love to hear them.

Pippa, if this round is successful, we expect to start shooting the next round in mid-2013. I hope we can shoot you then for this!

Wolfy, start sending your friends now! I hope we do not get busted and have our account pulled - YT's decisions around this seem to be based on whimsey and not much else. they have alrady pulled some of our videos, for no apparent reason at all. Grr.

redlabka, all our models are informed that the content we shoot of them will be used to promote the site, and we do not work with models who are not comfortable with that.

Pinky, sometimes we may release AW Ed on YouTube a few days before the site, but it should always be roughly con-current.

I know, right? YouTube is funny. I had Gretchen's very first music video up on my YT channel and it was up there for a solid year and just one day someone at YT pulled it, claiming that it was 'inappropriate' for some reason.

I listened to Yara on her DIM with Agnes talk of her preference for girls and the problems she had in finding partners. This same problem was also raised recently by Noa. Would it be possible to broaden the education videos to cover this subject and maybe other problems encountered in girl to girl relationships? It's not only guys and girls who have difficulties and I'm sure there are some girls who would welcome advice.
Would be interested to hear some thoughts on this idea, particularly from AW.
