Beth Tweddle, Eugenie Bouchard and all women in sport deserve better
It does seem the AW forums are more female friendly than Sky Sport twitter follower.

I think it is only natural to apreciate the beauty of a female athlete, and like pinky said very positive here, nothing about lacking skill and being only a pretty face blahh blahh
but like an actress or anyone with a job that is in the public eye these kind of things will always happen, but in true AW fasion we have managed to keep it reasonably clean and very positive, so I see no harm

At Queen's Club last year, the Bulgarian player Dimitrov attracted a crowd of about two dozen young women, excitedly cheering every point he won. I very much doubt that his style of play was their primary interest!

My two favorite underdog players in recent years have been Camila Giorgi and Danila Gavrilova. I discovered both of these women watching late night matches at the Australian Open several years ago. Both are such intense players in their own way. Camila is quiet and hits with tremendous power, fearlessly going for her shots. Danila has a ferociousness that defies her size, wears her emotions on her sleeve and leaves it all out on the court.
My favorite of the big name players is Caroline Wozniacki. I think she may be the best shot maker on the women's tour, unfortunately at times I think she gets overpowered by some of the power players.
