A key aspect of abbywinters.com shoots is the models wear very little makeup - sometimes mascara, but apart from that, none. Of course, we never use photoshop to fix blemishes.
Sometimes, we turn models away when they arrive for their shoot with grooming problems that makeup would fix (to book them for another shoot), other times we shoot them anyway (eg, Elva). Some potential models refuse to work with us, because they cannot wear makeup.
What are your thoughts on this rule? Could we relax it a little - some eye liner, coverup for blemishes, a little lipstick? Or is it better how it has always been?
Regardless of the votes and comments, we're not going to do a complete turn-around on our makeup stance, but it's good to know what our customers think!
