LOGIN - incorrect captcha, but didn't ask for one

I click Login. The Username and Password Window opens.
I enter my Username and my Password.
Then I become the error message "Incorrect CAPTCHA code entered"
But in the first Login-Window was no Catcha.
Then in the new/secound Login-Window I enter Username, Passwort and the CAPTCHA and I can successful login.

Confirmed, have reported it to web support.

I've been getting that too. Everytime. At first I thought it was just me mis-typing my password but although I made double-sure it was typed correctly on the second try I still got the Captcha message. Glad to know this one wasn't just me going nuts- heh heh

Can a bug like this affect only a small group or is it usually wide spread because Iv'e had the exact same thing happen for 4 consecutive days now...not a big deal !
