What questions should we ask our solo models?

I like to think of abbywinters as a team, with shooters models and members all pooling ideas to make the best erotica in the world!

With that in mind I am starting this thread so there is somewhere for you guys to tell us what you would like us to ask the models in their solo shoots?

    Remember:

    * Open ended questions are better as it gives our ladies room to fill us in on all the details!
    * Keep questions respectful - remember we like our models, they are people not objects
    * Be as creative as you like, the more variety the better!

Enjoy I look forward to reading your list!

    Some questions:
    - What's your studies, your job?
    - How many sexual partners did you have?
    - Did you have more sexual adventures or more long term relationships?
    - Why did you decide to do some nude modeling?
    - What adult work did you do before AW?
    - What do you like/dislike in doing adult work?

            More questions:
            - What kind of porno do you watch?
            - When doing a shoot, do you think to the people who will watch it?
            - What's the strangest object you used to masturbate?
            - How do you like hair on a woman, on a man?
            - How many people have seen you naked in your personal life? when doing some nude modeling?

I am no longer a subscriber, so please feel free to disregard my opinion. However one of the reasons I stopped subscribing was the sameness of the questions that were asked during the solo videos and their avoidance of anything about the models' ordinary lives. So I agree completely with Redlabka's first set of questions (much less with his second lot).

Questions about the models' sex lives are interesting and no doubt many subscribers like them a lot, but personally I find them really rather boring. I am much more interested in the models as human beings. I don't think of them as models, I think of them as women, and I would like the questioning to concentrate on their whole lives, not just their sex lives.

Where are they from? Where do they live now? What is their work? What are their hobbies? What do they do in their spare time?

And the other big topic so far as I'm concerned is the fact that they have decided to model for a porn site. Very few women do that. So what has made this woman decide to model nude for a porn site? Has she done it before? How often? What does she think about it? Why did she decide to do it? Does she tell her friends about it? Does her family know? What do they think? Does she have a partner or boyfriend? Does he/she know about it? What do they think?

I know that models are entitled to their privacy and obviously none of the questions should be too specific. But I can't imagine that any model would object to saying that she comes originally from, eg, Provence, that now she lives in northern France, that she works in a shoe shop and that she decided to try nude modelling for the thrill of it and to make some extra cash (if those things happen to match any of your models, I promise that it's pure coincidence).

I'm not saying the usual sorts of question about her favourite position, her first experience, her most unusual experience, etc, etc, should not be asked. But if I am ever to subscribe to AW again it will only be if the other far more interesting questions are put to most if not all the models in their solos.

I will admit that some of the best AW interviews have included elements of this, like Renae D. discussing epigenetics while stripping. That's pretty much acid-etched into my brain. But if I was a 20-something female trying to make, say, $600 from a nude photo shoot but wanted to protect my identity and my future, there's no way I would answer a combination of those questions; put together, they're way too precise. We live in a data-driven age where massive wads of information can be gathered and analyzed with relative ease. With access to the right databases, one could then ask (in your example), "show me a list of all women aged 20-30 who were born in Provence and now live in northern France and have visited <insert hobby here> web sites in the past year." That query would return a very short list.

I suppose the "why porn?" questions are interesting. But you have to watch out about the depth of these questions. The honest answer might be "I need to feed my two-year old, his father left me penniless." And then you've broken the unwritten porn fantasy rule. But now that AW has relaxed the no-gender rules (that models should refer to their boyfriends or girlfriends as "partners") I guess you could ask more sexual questions e.g. questions from the AW podcast-like thing you did.

Some of the solos have plot lines, such as Gretchen writing to her boyfriend and then masturbating. No interview required, and that was intensely sexual. But you've got to get a model that's bright enough to remember/act the part apparently on their own, consider the dramatic "line", and do it honestly. I'd imagine that's a very difficult combination to find.

Finally, some of the sexiest shoots have been the ones in which the model were relaxed, talkative, and as un-porn-y as is possible in a porn shoot. Maika's an example of that.

So maybe it comes down to this: put a model at ease and have her talk about her passion, whatever that is. I imagine that's pretty damn hard to do as it is.

I certainly wouldn't suggest that any model should be forced to talk about anything that makes her uncomfortable. But if the model is happy to talk about her origins and work and interests then that is what I would like to hear them talk about. I think most of them would be happy to, so long as the questions don't get too specific. Anyway, why not ask them? If the model doesn't want to talk about those things, all she has to do is say so.

I don't agree about the "unwritten porn fantasy rule". The whole point of Abby Winters is supposed to be that the models are real people. If someone wants fantasy he can go somewhere else. Real women do have pasts, some have children, some had unhappy childhoods. Clémence has two children and talks about them in her solos.

I don't like the story-line shoots. They seem very fake and stagey to me.

But I completely agree about putting the model at ease and having her talk about her passion. That's my main point: get the model to talk about her life and her interests. The first experience, strangest experience, etc questions to me get very boring very quickly.

Hi Masie! Great question. What I would not ask is how many partners anyone have had. That is the most retarded unwanted question I could think of. Same as reminding girls that they are doing porn and why. For fuck sake hahahaha. Nah, I think I would like to know if a girl prefer to have photos taken from behind on their knees or laying down. If they like dildos in either holes while they play with the other. If they have any fantasies while they play with them selfes. If they come from seeing hot guys on the street. If they like when a man says they are gorgous or if that is offensive. Or more to the point, how can they start to enjoy compliments more while they are still gorgeous. And if they cant take a compliment, why not? If questions to the model is all about making her feel comfortable, I guess its like any interview. I was trained by Volvo to do just that. But that seems pretty boring.

Hi guys, I thought I would pop in here to say that as a model I like most of the questions that have been suggested I for one certainly see no problems in asking about personal life, work, hobbies, where you're from, etc. After all, a model can choose to give only as many details as she wants. For example I probably wouldn't want to say which state I come from, but I wold happily tell which region of the US and what my studies are in! I also wouldn't mind talking about my decision to work for AW and why, and I don't imagine that this question would make many other models uncomfortable either, although if it did they wouldn't have to answer it.
I also like that most of the questions you guys put up are a combination of personal life and sex life. That makes models feel like they are still people, but sexy ones who get to talk about sexy things! Just please keep in mind that certain wording and overly sexual questions might make some models feel uncomfortable, as most of us are not porn stars but just regular girls with regular (or maybe not so regular) sex lives. Questions about "which holes" our dildos go in can make some people start to feel objectified. Maybe a gentler way to ask the question would be, "tell us about your toys if you have any, and what you like to do with them"!
Anyway this is quite fun, what other questions are you guys interested in knowing about us? It's interesting to see what you guys want to hear!

Hi Jada! Have to comment on one thing you said, but first I just want to thank you for being here on this site, you are so gorgeous! I probably shouldn't be on this forum, I just don't know when what I say hurt people. I just say what I mean and mean what I say. I don't even understand what it means to objectify someone. Yes, Im that stupid hahaha. I have had friends who has called me up and just asked if I want sex. Neighbours who knocked on my door and asked if I want to come over for sex. Was I objectified then? I don't know. I just loved the attention. And the sex..Jenna Jameson said a few things in her book about what questions to ask in an interview, but that might not be appropriate here.

Hi Steve! Oh no please don't take it bad, of course you should be on this forum, don't be silly! I never meant to imply that you were objectifying women, I'm sorry if you took it that way. I only meant that if I were asked that question worded in that exact way, it would make me feel uncomfortable. But don't you worry I'm not in the least bit offended! And thank you for the compliment

I think modesty is the best approach when presenting anyone with a question, and I would venture to say that it would go for the AW Forums as well, that's just my guess.

Sure, over the years I've been frequenting the AW Forums I may have at one point or another sort of pushed the boundries of etiquette but then I re-group and remind myself that folks in here, including the models and of course our moderators, are real people just as myself and I kind of apply the general concept of how I would choose to conduct myself in any sort of social situation and approach people in a way I would prefer to be approached and ask our models the sort of questions I feel would be appropriate for the setting that is the Abbywinters Forums, also remembering that these forums are readable by anyone on the Web, even non-members.

Hi Jada! Thank you so much for awesome reply! Just want to say something about asking questions, more about what you ask from a partner. But it could also be about asking questions here. I had a friend a while back, she wanted a lot of sex. She seemed to like me going down on her the way I did it, which was the same way I was asked to do it to other girls. two years later she says, why cant you kiss my pussy the same way as you kiss my mouth? I couldn't believe the question. Why didn't she ask me that before? I had spent two years going down on her the wrong way!!!!! I have always kissed girls the same soft way, have loved kissing that way. But when this girl told me this I realized I should've kissed her other parts the same way. Its all about communicating, telling each other what we want.
