I hope this posting doesn’t sound negative because Carmina is such a wonderful person. She’s sexy, she’s fun and she’s full of life and I am pleased for her success. But when the terms “porn star” and “actress” become associated with Abbywinters then my feelings are ambivalent.

I was first drawn to AW because it was Australian and it was amateur. When I decided to join it had become European but the Aussies were still there and the amateur content was still the priority. After exploring I guess I was quite surprised to find there were porn models on the list of AW girls.

There is obviously a fine line between porn models and enthusiastic amateurs who model for different sites (such as AW and GOW) but at what point is that line crossed and the site’s amateur status compromised? I’m not so naive as to believe that what I am seeing are unrehearsed, spontaneous meetings between girls, but the fact that they are amateurs, there for their own particular reasons, is what makes those meetings so interesting. However, when one (or both) is a known porn model then there are obvious doubts and questions raised.

I must point out that this still remains a fantastic site to visit, one that I will be rejoining when my membership expires, and that within AW there are many truly amateur girls allowing us the privilege of seeing them in their most intimate moments. But, porn models? I’m still uncertain about how I feel and I would be so interested to know what other members think.

Thanks Frans for the links, especially the one to Sweatyfox who posted an excellent letter which answered my concerns perfectly. I fully appreciate the point he makes when he says that it is the AW environment that brings out the amateur “real girl” side of those who are more professional models.
PS: I agree with you about your favourite pic: THAT is Carmina exactly!
