Are any efforts to film with a 3D camera?

to view these films with new and emerging techniques like VR displays (like Oculus Rift) or self-mande VR displays with a simple smartphone (like Durovis Dive)?

We have absolutely no desire to try this. We've reviewed the oculus rift, and some 3D camera systems. In our opinion, the tech is still lame. It'll get there in 3-7 years. We'll check out developments each year or so.

With technology, our goal is to employ it to bring our models closer to our customers, and clearly 3D has the potential to do that, but not yet in a commercial consumer-friendly way.
