I'm leaving soon...not just for my lunch break either

Hello people,

Well, I never thought I'd be writing this but unfortunately I have to say goodbye to all you great people. It's my last day at AW this friday. What?! How could she leave such a dream job I hear you all thinking. And honestly, I still ask myself the same question and will probably do so for the rest of my life. It was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make (followed closely by straight hair vs curly hair) and like with the hair, it was just something that had to happen. The transition is going to be extrememly hard I imagine but hopefully I will pull through at the end. Alot has happened over the last year of so and I would just like to thank a few people who have been there with me...

Firstly-

Abby, who has had to put up with me the longest. That's an achievement by it's self. Watching me stuff up so many videos and not screaming at me, how on earth do you do it?!

Vid Dude, again, having to edit those beginning videos of me not having a clur what I was doing must have really tested you patience. Thanks for the editing lessons, sorry I was shit. It's Millie's department anyway.

Ah yes, Millie, Millicence.. whatever! For being yourself and for the many muffins you've brought me.

Willow, for being a cool dude who lives at the other end of the office as me.

Beatrice, for laughing at some of my videos even when they weren't at all funny!

Susie, for being a neurotic neat freak who loves her booze and who belches like a man and farts on you when she thinks you're asleep.

Penny (Penelope really!), for a being a better cook than she is a photographer (haha, just joking) and staying all those latenights to help me practice my french like she said she would (you can thank me later P)

Nico, who probably won't even read this. For telling me how lovely I smell.

Valerie, for being a cool, crazy girl that loves to show you her breasts when you are least expecting it.

Anneke (that name should be spelt differently!), it's been short but sweet. For having THE best porn collection out of all the models

Nona, for all your wise words and advice and those crazy ass outfits I love so much

And to all the members that have always said such lovely things about me even if I do look pretty awful in most of the backstage pictures. I'll miss you all! And the models, who have been the main inspiration behind the job. Some have been easier than others but they have all had to put up with my annoying laugh so I can't really talk. I'll take with me some really great memories from lots of amazing shoots.

Aw I can't believe it. Another AW staff member with something a little special about her is leaving, just like beloved Jamie before her.

V, I wish you the best with what you go on to do. I personally think you are just as charming, likeable and pretty in the backstage pics and the ones posted on this thread. They give us a little insight into how you've contributed behind the scenes, not only technically (with the camera etc) but also through your character/personality. Your video interviews will be much missed as you seemed to be able to always get the interesting info out of the girls and also seemed to put them at ease which often led to them just having fun with the videos. And your're not scared to join in either, whether with the dancing or the horse whip.

So anyway thanks for what you brought to the site, from your own picture and video sets to all the work you've done behind the scenes. I think you've left your mark on the site and on the AW team also.

Hope we'll still maybe hear from you on the boards etc from time to time. Meanwhile a pic or two before you leave to remind us of your cheerfulness and beauty, would not go amiss. You going on to anywhere special? Bye for now.

Just a few days ago, I was talking with someone, how good you were with the models, playing with them, making fool of yourself with them, questions to ask that you knew. Moments we all enjoyed so much, and that we will miss so much. This is very hard on us members. Like someone else mentioned before, first Jamie, and now you. This is getting unbearable. I know there's a saying that goes "life must go on", but....
One thing is for sure, we will all miss you so much, and may your path leads you to greener pasture. You said that Penelope helped you with your french, well, maybe coming back to Montreal would be great, although you never said why your leaving nor where you're going.

Wow, thanks everyone! I'm going to miss you all so much. You have all said the nicest things to me over the last year or so, told me that my videos are great when some of them clearly were not. I know I'm leaving you in very good hands and I will definitely come back and say hello to you all and update you on my future life outside AW. I'll probably rebel and get really lazy, not get a job and end up spending all my time visiting the forum anyway. You'll see!

Like I said, you are being left with a great bunch of people here. Everyone one of the above people are truly great. I have obviously had more to do with some than others, but I will miss them all.

Today I went out on my last shoot, it was a goodie! It has kind of made it even harder for me to accept I won't be here next week, or the week after etc. It's all starting to sink in finally. No more teasing from Millie about stupid things I've done in my videos, no more Penny coming back from shoots looking totally and utterly exhausted like she'd just run a marathon, and especially no more Susie winging about this and that. How can I leave this?!!!

I sure will post a picture before I leave, it would be interesting to do a contrast of me when I did my first shoot and me now. No not a nude one!

Anyway, I must go, thanks again for all your lovely posts! Everyone!

Do you know what makes it so hard to accept? It's the fact that this place is like no other place, where nobody knows nobody. This place here is like a big family, with so many friendly members, and owner, and staff, whom are not afraid to share between each other, and even share private stories, give opinions, ask advice, and so on. It's like losing a sister, a cousin, and even a close friend, that makes it so hard to believe and accept. It's been a couple of days now, since you told us, and to this day, it's still create a deep pain. I know we wont make you change your mind, and we have to accept it, but I felt like I had to write this, to ease my mind. Sorry.
