live web cam

hey i don't know if this is at all even possible, but i was just thinking how cool it would be if like once a week a different model was on a live web cam for say an hour or two and could chat live with the members?
rather then having like a forum where u post and wait and post and wait ... is this idea even possible?
Maybe it could be a differnt model each week? now obviously not every model is going to have a web cam, computer acess or cable internet, so i will leave the technical workings of that up to someone else.

I jsut thought it would be cool.
maybe have it at differnt times so that differnt places in the world would be able to tune in and have the time each week in some news feed? somewhere where everyone can see it so IF people want to get up in silly hours of the night to chat with us they could.
( maybe some of us models would be up in silly hours of the night to do it :P )

or maybe if Aw had a laptop with a built in webcam and everything set up so some who do have broadband conections could take it home?
or course there would need to be a list of rules like no one else is allowed to sit with the model, no family memebrs in teh background that sort of thing.

I think it's a great idea. The only problem I see is it could quickly become something degrading. If you've ever been on a massive webcam chatsite you know that it's usually a few people trying to have an actual conversation with the model plus a hundred others just screaming for nudity and sex acts. Don't get me wrong. I like nudity and sex as much as the next guy , but I don't think it would be the same good-natured, flirtatious, and intellectual environment as we get here on the boards. Maybe with some strict behavior rules and monitoring it would work though.

Live cam shows are making a bit of a comeback in the world of erotica, and I think it would be a fine addition to the site. I see them popping up all over other porn sites, perhaps because the business is in a bit of a recession due to piracy, economic factors, the fact that disc media is dying (although Blu Ray looks pretty cool). Also, cam shows have come a long way in the past few years. Not so grainy and low res anymore.

That sounds like it would be cool. I think the "interview" style like you see all around the web with actors and film/tv makers would be great. As long as it's clear that it's not a "sex" show then I think most of us members would behave. And a little boobage from you would always be welcome Patty.

there are often shots about what we do that at AW today, how difficult would it be to do a live stream from the office at a regular interval. I hope it wouldn't overwhelm the servers, or the chat degenerates into the crap you often see or hear about with live WebCams!
Perhaps if you put in guidelines that it would be for members only, and to keep it strictly conversational albeit potentially humorous, but not pornographic. Nothing wrong with pornography mind you, I just would hate to see whomever was on camera embarrassed or humiliated by perverse requests... my gosh do I have a dirty mind?

maybe we could have rather strict guidlines so we could maybe show a bit of skin, like say if someone got a new tatoo they wanted to show, show new underwear, cuase i know i get excited when i get new underwear, i always wanna show it off ( and then by the time i have someoen to show its not so exciting anymore)

maybe there could be a list of topics that would be taboo, such as religion, politics and money ( oh wait thats just "polite" table manners hehehe)

and maybe members could ah write in questions they would like asnwered before hand on a forum if they are unable to watch it live so they still can catch it later in a DL ? im not very tech savy i dont know how this stuff works.

YouTube can really help make things like video podcasts and 'vlogs' much easier and much more feasable. I've been doing YouTube for several years now and I can see where it can be a fairly safe way of channeling AW member video.

I was thinking of asking about cam shows for a while and then this thread showed up. I would appear to be in a minority but I would like the cam shows to include masturbation (unless the law doesn't allow bearing in mind the recent problems). After all AW is a porn site and I joined particularly for the IM videos. I am a member of USA site with cam shows and the girls really seem to enjoy getting off on camera knowing that they are being watched by lots of guys doing the same. Some of the AW girls might like the idea as well, just Imagine Chloe B or Sue Ann talking to us live and having one of those famous orgasms . Knowing that it is happening live adds to the experience for me and I now prefer cam shows to downloads.

There is no extra charge for the cam shows on the other site but I don't suppose the girls are doing it for nothing (2 hours at a time) so I don't know how it works financially.

your also correct in that you seem to be in the minority for your idea, which when you think about it is kinda suprising.

I however must object.
i really would not be comfortable masterbating on a live camera feed.
we all have plenty of videos featuring us at our very best, i dont think i could do it. i dont find the idea of knowing people are watching me arousing at all.
the great thing i found with doing IM's is that we are left along in a room with a camera and we get to take our time and relax and just enjoy the experience. i would feel like i had to perform if i knew it was live, i would feel pressured, i dont know if i could reach orgasm that way.

now of course i dont speak for all models and i am sure there are girls out there that would be happy to do that.
however given that most of the people who have commented on here that they would like it to be rather non sexual and more like a live interview it will be intersting to see what garion and the crew decide they are going to do with it.
