In another thread, we were having a pretty serious discussion about our interests in pornography, and following something SlipJig said, I thought it would be good if there was a thread running somewhere that any of us could chat about our interests in a slightly more sober manner than we might otherwise do.

Perhaps we could even cut and paste stuff from our own posts elswhere if they say what we mean and use it as points for discussion or perhaps to save ourselves the trouble of typing it all out again....

What do you think folks?

How serious can the discussion be in a topic that is headed "Inter Letcheralls"?
I just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out what the topic means.
Probably a clever pun that I can't figure out, dammit.

If you want to get serious about my interest in pornography, perhaps we should start by saying that I'm a packrat, and tend to download huge quantities of images from the newsgroups, pick my favorites, and never look at them again because there are so many more to find.
The range of my interests are beyond broad - include fat, slim, pregnant, big breasts, small breasts, hairy, shaved.
Boy/Girl stuff, too, but not BJ's. I like insertion shots where I can see the girl's face.
Interesting that having seen 1000's of images, the only girl/girl sets I've ever liked are Abby's, the others bore me.
My favorite collection is of "smiling pussies", pics where the girl is either totally or nearly nude, where I can clearly see her open pussy and her breasts, and she's smiling at me. I have something like 5,000 of them, though not 5,000 different models. (It's one of the reasons I like AW so much -- nearly 100 different with exceptional smiling pussy shots!)
I have a smaller collection just like it but with toys inserted.
I also have collections of "heavy" girls, pregnant women, and pee sequences.

Whew. Glad I got that off my chest.

It's very similar in my case, gigabytes of the stuff, however with me, almost anything that looks like a "professional" model gets the old "shift+del" treatment straight away.

My favourites are amateurs up to about 40 years of age, be they nude or partially nude, and I am also fond of upskirts, downblouses, peeing, pregnant and lactating shots, and sleeping/drunk shots. I also like Japanese girls, but not the extreme cum-covered stuff you see about. As for boy/girl stuff, I do confess to a collection of women giving men handjobs, but most BJ's tend to leave me cold, and I've got comparatively very few "fuck" shots. For some reason I have little interest in seeing men having their way with women. Perhaps they get in the way, and spoil the illusion that it's just me and the girl/s....

As for bodyweight, I like slim girls best, though a lot does depend on the personality that shines through. (Haley & Leigh on here being classic examples).

AAMOF, it was some of your posts to Usenet that brought me here, and once in, I was completely hooked. I can think of nowhere else that has the same magic for me that this place has, and I've been around quite a bit.

I started in the old BBS days, and remember often having to cut mime or uuencode text out of a message in order to decode some tiny 16 colour pic of a pair of tits or whatever. Those were the days.... And of course prior to that, it was the girly mags, stacks of them, but again, nearly all "amateurs". Even now, whilst I adore the size and clarity of Abby's work, I'm still happy to accept a scanned, out of focus Polaroid shot. With me, it's the content that counts over quality a lot of the time. Of seeing something I'm not necessarily supposed to IYSWIM.

And of course now that digital cameras are beginning to take over from film, the quality and content of amateur work has improved profoundly. No more worries about getting films developed and printed for one thing; and the cost: once you have your camera, you have unlimited, uninhibited capacity for no extra outlay.... (storage/maintenance costs naturally accepted)

And on top of that, there's now broadband. I would hate to have to go back to a 56K dial-up connection, and my first modem was 14.4 or whatever!

Indeed, that is a good question.

Whether it's for a psychiatrist or an anthropologist - I'm not sure which. Perhaps it's the inate need to possess as many women (or their photos these days) as we can. The quest for genetic variation in the seemingly inexhaustible treasure trove that is Usenet and the rest of the internet porn world.

I'm more or less the same as the two of you in my excessive downloading habits. Although I have thinned out my collection from time to time, I still have countless megabytes of pics that I just can't bear to delete. Even though most of them were d/l back in the 14.4/28.8 days and are really too small to be enjoyed properly. Abby's wonderful site has really spoiled me.

Actually, though, now that I think about it, even though I may have uncounted thousands of pictures from the previous 15 years or so; because they are so small on the screen, they are also small in kilobytes. I haven't taken a survey and added it up, but I'm sure just the last 18 months or so of Abbywinters.com downloads takes up far more space. All those lovely giant photos and video series. Thank goodness hard drives have kept pace with increasing size and decreasing price per MB. Not to mention faster processors. I remember back in the 486 or early Pentium CPU days, when I flipped through my computer photos there was a definite delay in getting each pic drawn up on the screen in Viewprint. Now I can just hold down the spacebar and the photos are displayed faster than the eye can see.

Well I better quit before I start waxing poetically about the good old days listening to the wireless.
