Well, I'm quite new to this site and forum so I'll take the opportunity to say: Hello everyone! (and I'd offer heartfelt compliments like everyone else but Abby is probably tired of hearing it by now ) Instead, here's something I have been thinking about for a while.
Although we are born naked and sex is one of our strongest and most basic biological drives, sexuality itself has a long way to go before being embraced by mainstream civilization in most parts of the world. If being a pornographer or otherwise employed in the 'adult' industry carries a certain stigma, being a consumer of this same industry is an equal or perhaps even greater shame. And when indulging in physical pleasure is not enough, some of us, stupid though it may be, can even become involved emotionally - in effect, developing crushes on some of these girls. This is where the problem starts. Porn-watchers know that most of the models we ogle on adult sites would not spare us a second look in the 'real world', that in spite of our dreams and fantasies, they likely would not wish to know us, or speak to us, or do anything outside of what they were paid for. At least, that has been my experience in the past. What's your opinion? Are we, the clients, just a bunch of sad, repulsive perverts in the eyes of those we desire? Arguments can be made both for and against, but I'd like to hear what others think.
