Bloopers

I love the idea of a Bloopers video; I remember reading that it took a while for the six girls to get the introduction right and I'm sure there are others. I was wondering if Abby or Vid Dude still have any plans to do this.

I was thinking about a section on the site called “Bloopers”, to go alongside the FAQ section. This would be about member’s mistakes, not model’s mistakes. It would be organized as a list of anecdotes. The section is actually about member etiquette, but that fact is hidden behind humor and easy read.

Tell about the member who was discovered putting a word balloon on a portrait photo, and the consequence he suffered. Tell it the way a comedian would: “He has been limping ever sense, and has grown wings. It could have been my mistake. There but for fortune go you or I.” :-)

I was making up a collection of portraits by cropping AW photos. Something made me realize that AW wouldn’t like that at all. Oops. If you use any of the anecdotes about me, and there’s a couple good ones, please change the name!

We’re sensitive. We just don’t always know where the sensitivities lie. Internet porn is too new to have built up much lore and common knowledge about it. There aren’t Emily Post books written about it yet.

At the end of the Bloopers section, there might be a list of 10 to 20 lessons learned. The anecdotes might have a little thing to click of “what went wrong”. A little pop-up thing explains who didn’t like the error, and why.

I doubt that AW will ever make a section like this. It has a certain untidiness about it. But it’s a thought.
