Aquatic Eroctic Art aka Under water porn

OK, I've had this idea in my head since I went scuba diving a while back and I saw someone underwater with a waterproof casing round their very large professional camera. Couldn't it be possible to do an under water shoot. I'm really besotted with the idea. I can just imagine it, and I think it could be brilliant. I know it would be hard work, and could turn out a disaster. Anyway, I just thought I would put it out there.

    Hi, Liandra.

There is a mention of "underwater housing" in this thread. I wonder if anything ever came of it.

Besotted with the idea? Sober up, girl!

Besotted is a fine old English word. Besot away Liandra with your underwater work. A good photo session gets me high with no chemicals at all...

Grrr. So I bout this $12,000AU fully pro underwater camera housing for my camera, for our Special Project shoots in norther NSW earlier this year - lots of ocena around, and a pool at HQ. The fucking thing did not work. I have been wanting to do an underwater shoot (or, a half under, half out) shoot for years now.

I don't think I have ever been more frustrated and disappointed in my life.

I'd keep trying for the underwater shoot. It would be fantastic. A couple of years ago, on the HBO "Real Sex" series, there was a piece about a California porn producer who did a series of underwater videos in his pool. I'll see if I can find it. They were really hot. He worked with his models and had them practicing to increase the time they could stay underwater. Besides solo shots of a nude model underwater swimming around, he got basically T2 level vids with two or three girls at a time, underwater. Wonderful.

Abby: $12,000AU??! What's it made of? Send it back and tell em to fix the damm thing!

                $12,000? wow.

Abby, if you'd like, I can sell you an underwater case that won't work either, and I'll only charge you a buck!

An waterset GG shoot would be so awesome. They could have little competitions like who could stay underwater to go down on the other longest. One could backfloat while the other supports her with one hand and strokes her breasts & belly with the other. The possibilities are myriad.

Not to mention vulvas feel so different underwater.

Ah, sorry to have reminded you of your frustration and disappointment. That's a shed load of money for faulty gear, did it fuck your camera up? I'm not surprised your vexed, but I reckon you should send it back ASAP to get fixed. To eventually succeed will take away the sting of the intial disappointment.

Take advantage of the those natural wonders down under. Can you imagine Abby girls swimming around in schools of colorful fish like clown fish or something. I'm sure it would require lots of planning, but the AW team is up to it!

                            Dear Miss Winters,

Remember the old Proverb - modified for gender -

                            " S(he) who hesitates is lost. "

Project Proposal - with functional underwater camera ( Stills and Video )

4 or 6 Naiads or Nereids ( water-nymphs ) frolic in their natural setting -

Either a crystal clear lake , or sheltered bay of calm blue sea.

They start off wearing only sheer robes to preserve their modesty -

Until they get wet of course - various activities then ensue ( left to your imagination ) -

Before they return to their " Sacred Grotto " ..... fade .....

This would include " above " as well as under-water photography ( including close-ups ).

What a wonderful fantasy realised this would be !

Even better, unlike male Ancient Greeks, thanks to the Internet, we would not have to

Fear the Retribution of the Nymphs - for invading their privacy - such as being blinded !

                            Not holding his breath,

If the above remark is not understood, it is a reference the the recent 3 or 4 shark attacks that have happened to people (surfers?) using the waters of the state of South Australia (SA).

Wow thats a shame, it is such a tradgedy when you finally get it togethe rto get a new piece of equipment and it doesn't work sigh.
Ive had some serious low moment brought on by faulty new equipment and techinical dysfucntion.

UNderwater shoots look amazing but good lord there some variables for disaster. It would be nice however to see A.W girls underwater I imagine it would be totally different to a lot of stuff thats already out there.

In the '70s I got to do an underwater shoot with a 35mm still camera. (The housing for that was cheap.) The bouyancy of a woman's breasts underwater counteracts the effects of gravity and the models absolutely loved the way their breasts looked in the photos. They were talking about it for weeks!

There was also a guy (sorry, don't remember his name) ten or so years back who published a book of several modern/ballet dancers (men & women) in a pool that was painted black. Some were nude some were wrapped or cavorting under water with sheets of diaphonous cloth in saturated reds and yellows. Beautiful photos of gorgeous people floating, dancing, and flying in space. Truly stunning images.

Abby, I think no one here can stand the thought of somebody doing that to you. Please don't let 'em get away with it; they've gotta make good on that deal. Now I'll be dreaming of the day I can see Abby's underwater sets and, I guarantee you, the lucky models will love 'em.

p.s. Jeeze! I hope TowelBoy is OK. The last we heard from him he was deep under water and he wasn't holding his breath!

I have sent the underwater housing off a few weeks back tot he dealer, he has to send it to the manuf, who's in germany of course. So, it's happenning, slowly. I have access to a pool now, so an underwater shoot is certainly realistic. I could also just get a cheapie housing for a dinky cam, really... But I like the big fucker, speshly after spending that much on it.

Leprechaun, amen to buoyancy. Some friends and I burned through a few underwater disposables in a hotel pool a few years ago, just for the fun of it, and all the ladies involved had exactly the same feedback.

                                          Abby,
Far be it from me to advise you on your shoots, but I have seen a number of water/underwater sex videos that were really good, (my last at bettersex.com) which I have purchased a number of videos from, and may i suggest either for a day or night video, a private, fenced, pool behind someones house to make the vids. An enclosed pool facility in a building , which I remember is where you photographed a model a long time ago, would blow the atmostphere of the whole shoot. Just my 2cents.

Now that I think of it, are you just thinking of underwater still pictures, or videos too????

Ah yes, I was def planning on an outside pool, and hopefully entirely open water (bay, ocean).

We use sony PD-170 cameras, and while I do not doubt there are UW housings made for them, the $12,000 housing for the stills camera hardly justifies the few shoots I'll do with it. A video camera housing I worry would be as expenive and receive even less use...

Yes, the Ewa housing is for up to 10m depth.

                                                          They have an Australian distributor.

wow, great examples guys, please abby please, i will be more than happy to shoot these underwater adventures, and think of all the possiblities! wait, this will definately require long and involved posting by all of you too come up with creative ways to use the waterproof housing, i have a feeling that after 2 GG's and a couple of solo's, we/I will have trouble coming up with inventive videos. Im a big fan of close ups , a question to all of you more educated on the subject.... what would the close ups be like? would you get clarity at all?

Does any one perchance have an example of this underwater camera thing in action? (doesnt have to be porn) I would like to see it.

Also do you think it would help with some of those shower/bath/water IM's we've been talking about?

                                                            love your work liandra xoxo
