nowhere is it said it would be otherwise, but I was still surprised to google into my AW profile and be able to click on all my posts when on a whim I googled my username. I tend to forget the forums are public and searchable from outside. my username was buried among many other references to the same word in many places, but more unique usernames would be near the top. so, keep in mind.

Yes, we've always had our messageboards visible on Google. On step 2 of the Join pages, we say this in the Username box: It will be publicly visible on the boards, so please choose carefully to ensure your privacy.
