Are threads edited out quickly?

I was sure I posted a new thread here just a couple of days ago about my thought for experimenting with a cross between GG3 and Double IMs. Now, I don't see a trace of it! That seems to have happened with a couple of others I started. I thought they were reasonable subjects! Not complaining, of course, just trying to learn how to be a good poster or else how better to navigate the message board!
