Leonie and the Fire Breathing Wallaby Crossing

Okay - I have to ask.

I liked the Mez shoot of Leonie, but what's with the sign? I didn't know you had wallabies that breathed fire. That gives the outdoor porn shoot a whole new sense of danger!

I laughed a lot at that one.

Oh yes, everybody who lives in Australia knows that there are fire-breathing Wallabies. They hunt in packs of fifteen, and they play a game called rugby. Cass would know all about that, though where she comes from they think the fire-breathing part is a myth.

Sorry to lower the tone, SJ. I promise that's the last time I'll ever mention sport on an AW board.

      Kangaroo's more likely.
We do get alot of wallabies who scoot across the roads round these parts, but out on this location you can be sure it'll be a massive kanga to come bounding past.

I love what they've done to that sign too. Very clever.

Hi Ash, long time no see img tag disable, use attachment mgr/system to add images to postshttp://www.abbywinters.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif

Check out this site http://members.ozemail.com.au/~enigm...lia/slang.html for Aussie slang. I had it bookmarked because I was once planning a trip down under. Didn't work out though. Maybe if I win the lottery. Yeah, right.

heh, that's a cool site! I just spent 15 mins on there, and had a ball. I also recently picked up a book called "down under", by Bill Bryson, who's a travel writer. It's all about his sojourns in Australia, and is very funny. Recommended.

Wallabies are smaller than kangaroos. Related but not the same exactly. A baby kangaroo is a joey as you probably know. Before I moved to Oz I also thought a wallaby was a baby one. We actaully have wallabies in NZ, but they're not everywhere.

How are you guys? It's really chilly in Sydney today. I'm out to take some washing to the laundromat after a very messy shoot we had on saturday. It was a winner. The model came into the studio and we had a bed set up. We put her in front of the vidoe camera and walked away and left her to her own devices. Me, Abby and Video man are trying to be quiet so as not to spoil the sound of her breathing...panting...moaning...crying out...orgasming! It was full on. I was on the other side of the curtain directly opposite her and I was shaking afterwards. My palms were definately clammy. I had to open all the windows and release all the tension in the room (sexual that is).

Brrrr! It's so cold today. I can't get over it. The weather is so topsy turvy. I always get really cold hand. Hey Jus, aren't boobies the best for warming fingers? I always use my boobs to warm my own hands. The initial chill factor is full on but worth the thaw factor when your fingies start working again.
My little friend Tara is a great warmer upera even though she's so small. I always warm my toes at night by slotting them between her thighs. I'm so cruel but she's a good friend and always lets me. They say ginger is good for circulation. Perhaps I should get into some.

Actually, that reminds me of a very funny (kinda) story, although it wasn't very funny at the time. Every winter in NZ I would go snow boarding, living right at the snow. I always had trouble with circulation in my feet and my socks always got wet somehow. Someone at a local hippy health shop recommended that I sprinkle paprika into my snowboard boots and with the fiction and movement it would start a warming reaction and keep my feet toasty. Yep!

Well, good old Cass thinks this sounds just great and goes and pours half a packet of paprika in each boot.
Unfortionatley for me the reaction started on the lifts when I couldn't get off and I was eventually found up the top of the lifts with my boots of and my tootsies steaming off in the snow.
HINT: a SMALL amount of paprika in shoes may help with circulation!

              Love Cass

Abby, I have that book by Bill Bryson. It is funny reading about his exploits visiting every corner of your country. I particularly like how he describes all the the things that can kill you in Australia, and how nonchalant you all are about the dangers and annoyances. Just a few for those who don't know - Sydney funnel web spiders, redback spiders, salt-water crocodiles that can lunge out of the ocean and snatch you so fast that noone may even see you go, emus and cassowarys that can eviserate you, bush flies that land on your eyeballs, the most venomous snakes in the world, goannas (monitor lizards), etc. Too many more to mention really. Oh wait, I have to mention box jellyfish, the most excruciatingly painfully stinging animal in the world.

So why would I give anything to go on a month's visit around the country? The pristine beaches, the stark beauty of the outback, the friendly gregarious people, the barrier reefs, kangaroos, that cute way of speaking you all have, the rainforest, wombats and koalas; again, too many more to mention. Maybe someday... you are all so lucky to live there, I hope you know it. The U.S. is really beautiful and just as wonderful too, but I've been there and done that, so to speak. Just one trip, that's all I ask. Abby, maybe you need another assistant and personal slave, LOL. I work cheap. I just need a bit of time off now and then to explore around img tag disable, use attachment mgr/system to add images to postshttp://www.abbywinters.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif

Back to the book. In the U.S. it's published as "In a Sunburned Country" by Bill Bryson, paperback. Highly recommended by me also for anyone who wants to learn about the land and the people in a humourous, but insightful way.

                    Well, thanks for everything!

I knew about the babies being called Joeys, and to be honest I was trying to show off a bit by referring to Wallabies since EVERYONE knows that there's Roos in OZ, but maybe less people have heard of a wallaby. [sigh]

I thought they looked the same, and they pretty much do. The 'roo family ranges from little Kangaroo rats to the big red 'roos which can weigh up to 80 kilos. (whoa) Then of course there are the cousins - wallabies and wallaroos (11 types in all apparently).

                    On to other things..

Cass, sounds like a great shoot! Who was the model? Yowza!

And I agree that your breasts are a great place to warm up. img tag disable, use attachment mgr/system to add images to postshttp://www.abbywinters.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif I must have turned up my air conditioning too high -my fingies are every cold... Can you help out a mate??? heh-heh.

                    Hugs all around,
