I'm not a regular poster here. In fact, this is my first post!
I was motivated to do a quick search on the forums after seeing a photo in the right sidebar of the infamous "Tourist's Clog" in Amsterdam!
Whilst I share some of the concerns of the other posters here, I'd like to welcome AW to my hometown of Amsterdam!
I'm sure AW will change in some ways, but with the same people in control, change will occur in the right way. Good luck to all concerned...

Why is it that since the move to Amsterdam, the scheduling has gone wild. Is it only me or anyone else noticed it. For instance, here in North America we used to have new shoots up by morning or noon, now we only gonna get it at night, why such a change I wonder, after all those years.

I attribute that to AW administrators and technical engineers working hard at getting everything necessary in place now in the company's new geographical location. Hang in there and won't be long now till things are back up-to-speed. Moving a company halfway across the globe is quite a tremendous undertaking, at least I'd think, so it's just a matter of time till things are brought back to speed.

Hi Neighbor, Yes I noticed it too. Not only is the timing whacked but the distribution of stills and videos seems out of sorts to me also. I don't DL vids (no bandwidth to do so) so I ge a couple of shoots and then a two days with nothing and then another 2 shoots. I figured it was just due to the move and getting settled, but if nobody says anything then maybe they don't know it isn't the way we like it. So, thanks for speaking up (in English).

Just relax, and let the schedule surprise you...Go with what the schedule actually says and not what you want it to be, you'll be a lot happier!

The models above are evidence that AW has had a history of staying true to its principles. You have beautiful girls who are not covered in make up because they do not need it to look beautiful (I am talking about you Sue Ann. You are the HOTTEST ever). They have amazing bodies that as you may see in some of the pictures are built from enjoying the outdoors. The new European models, in my opinion do not fit this mold and it is a matter of great concern to me

I have to say that I agree with mabirizi, above. I've not been keen on the majority of shoots since the move to Europe. Nothing against the models themselves, it's just that for me AW always has been about Australian models. Not happy with the switch to what seems to be predominantely Eastern European girls. Hope this sorts itself out. What I don't understand is if the Oz govt. didn't like what AW were doing how come there are other Australian sites doing exactly the same and still remaining in Oz?

Maybe i'm overly optimistic, but I hope the other Oz sites survive these dark times. I viewed them very little, but thought they were pretty good sites. Yeah that damn newspaper rag painted a bulls eye target on AW's back.

To the good long time Aussie members like Tank and the rest of you. I feel a sense of loss for Australia that they lost something so special and homegrown. AW's tree is branching out in a new hemisphere, but with those good old Oz roots!

Don't blame the newspapers, newspapers will always be hostile to porno that is seen to be corrupting models into, well, you know, the kind of models that do sex for money. As evolved as we are as species, there are some seriously prehistoric ideas and activities in the world. The ever present undermining of an adults ability to choose and indulge in their own sexual exploration. Whether that be in the privacy of their own home or via a medium such as the internet. And the absolutely horrific, everyday occurrence of any such choice being torn away from a human through such inexcusable tragedies like child sex slavery, war crime victims and domestic violence/rape. All in all there are endless amounts of horrific sexual acts in the world that need constant monitoring, attention and political support.

Instead though, outrage and court time is being focused on sexual acts, like the ones our company provides. And I am completely disheartened.

This really gets me. It's so sad that a "first world" country must be this way. Yet a developing country like Indonesia is get increasingly more democratic and up to date with modern society. I live in England and if you were all running your business here, you'd be openly welcomed. We really need more natural stuff like you have on AW.

Sorry, I cannot agree on this matter. The hardest core stuff they have are their six girl-boy shoots and there's much harder-core stuff floating around the Internet than that. Having seen porn for several years, h/c and s/c, I would consider AW to be very softcore. I wouldn't sign up to other porn sites simply because they tend to co-erce and deceive their models purely for the consumption of money. The stuff put on here is and looks genuine. I believe this site has stood out from the rest from the day I first saw a few AW pics from one of the sites that sponsor them.

Should quieten the dissent for a while hopefully. I am very sorry to say I must agree. As a long time fan, returning member and resident of Holland, I can only voice my disappointment with the early shoots with Eastern European models. Please, please try to find models from other parts of Europe that fit better into the AW formula that we have come to love. Being one of the only sites to believably occupy the girl-next-door niche is what made you succesful! Don't throw out the baby with the bath water!!!!

Undoubtedly after a major move like yours it will take time to build up an equally rich network to the one you had in Oz, but if at all possible, try not to go for what many would consider 'the easy option', opting for Eastern European models...Would be great to have British, Dutch, Scandinavian or French models in GG Tier 3's!!

You're supposed to use the new site. The old site is no longer supported and it might indeed be rather slow, that is because it's not intended to be browsed by lotsa users. The new site is set up to be fast and loads all the pics correctly, so use that one!

The (soft-porn) content you seek is still hosted via the new/current site, so I wouldn't say it's the end of anything really.

As a member for something like six and a half years, I agree with this observation. I would also say that, while the site has evolved and developed over the years, my perception is that it has remained faithful to the philosophy and values that inspired its creation, and that it continues to pursue its proclaimed aim of presenting real, natural women having real, natural sexual enjoyment and expressing their pleasure in real, natural ways.

In hindsight I think it may well have been a mistake to start applying the "Hardcore" label to girl-girl scenes that had previously had the innocuous-looking label "Tier 3". "Hardcore" has a resonance all too closely associable with the kind of porn to which AW was meant to stand out in contrast; and that may well have made it easier than it otherwise would have been for the authorities to target AW in the way they did. Water under the bridge, now, of course; and no doubt there will be aspects of the Australian location and ambience that I and other members will sometimes miss as the new European-based videos come onstream (especially now that I've actually visited Australia!). But I'm equally sure that there will be plenty of compensations, and as long as AW keeps to the values on which it was founded, I'll continue to be a happy member of the site.

hey takochan, I think you are right about the HC label. I never really did like it. HC used to mean penetration by a male (at least that was the way I saw it used) and that totally (at least for now) doesn't apply to the current AW shoots.

IMHO, the site has changed over the years and I am not totally sure that I like all the changes. That is my personal opinion. I miss PMs and lists and hate Tags to name a couple of things. I am not really crazy about the color scheme of the site right now. My sub is up in a week and I will probably let it rest for a while since I am extremely busy right now. That said there are some things that have stayed pretty consistent. The models are pretty much as cute as 10 years ago if a few pounds heavier on average. That weight change may be a reflection of the population in general I have not researched that.

The other thing that has remained pretty constant is the boards are a very civil place to have a discussion. This actually is a rarity in my experience. I have made friends (long term, real friends) with several people that I have met through these boards (something that is not so possible any more given no PMs). The other thing (to AW's credit) is that negative comments and valid criticisms have been allowed on the boards without censorship or deletion. I am on a programming newsgroup and comments that are not deemed OK are deleted by the moderators (the owner of the programming language) without notice and without any explanation.
