DVD vs Site Releases.

I've just found on a site I use, two Girl/Girl scenes ripped from DVD, that haven't been released here yet. They're not in the upcoming releases yet either.
Is it normal to release scenes on DVD first, or is this an unusual occurence?
Just to let you know, I'll be waiting for the official release before downloading, as the quality will be hugely superior, and most importantly I pay for my porn!

Normally scenes are released first on the site, then (sometimes edited differently) on dvd.

Sorry, didn't want to mention names. But it was Claudia V & Ivi, and Elise V & Lissa W. The DVD was called Girl Girl Sex 374. I don't buy DVDs myself, so wouldn't know if it had been released or somehow leaked.

Have to admit I was sorely tempted to download it, as I have a major crush on Claudia!

Ah I see.. since the sunsetting of site was announced g/g release frequency was lowered, these are indeed scenes which are scheduled for future release.
