In the recent thread, Memory Lane - Rachel S, Masie says that Rachel's name often comes up in the office when they're talking about greatness. (I'm not surprised.) I'd love to hear from Masie who else is mentioned frequently. I can think of several, but here are three I hope she agrees with: Hayley F, Joanna M and Marigold.

All fabulous choices! The list all-time AW greats is long and delightful and I could probably spend the rest of the day reminiscing, but from the Aussie days, Cleo, Chloe B, Julia B, Larissa M and Melita spring readily to mind. More recent additions to the Abby pantheon would include Gretchen, Noa, Nichole, Anahi, Amanda B, Mila and Bobbie, and I'll stop myself there, though I know I've left out scores of magical girls. And the next beloved fan favorite could very well walk through the door tomorrow!

Anyway, I would definitely be intrigued to hear from Masie and her colleagues as well!

Massfan.....you are on to something.....While I dont want a simple popularity contest or a beauty peagent contest....A multi factored "AW Hall of FAME" would be awesome....btw...your top contenders and mine have a lot of over lap.....I immediately presume you are a substantive individual with stellar tastes!!! lol!

As I started typing what I thought would be a quick list of three or four favorites and it got longer and longer, I started to wonder if there aren't too many super-awesome Abby girls for a hall of fame to be feasible. I also felt a bit concerned about the popularity contest thing and models feeling left out. At any rate, I think you've already hit on the solution yourself with your "Memory Lane" posts shining a spotlight of wonderful models from the past! With your permission, I might start writing up a few myself based on my ideas above, if that's all right...

If however you want to be more specific in your questions I might be able to highlight a shoot that is a particularly good example of a model having fun in a bath or which was my first shoot, first outdoors shoot etc. xx

Aww, of course you do, Masie! You're such a sweetheart and all the models are indeed great. I like your idea of questions about specific highlights. You've got some good ideas to start there, so any stories you want to share along those lines would be great. I think the outdoor girl-girls are always special, so I'd love to hear some of your favorite memories about those. (How do you find those secluded outdoor spots where the girls can have sex uninterrupted?) Also, maybe some of the funniest or most surprising things you remember happening on a shoot? You know I love seeing the AW experience put into words, so any stories you've got would be lovely...

All, I am not suggesting a popularity contest, or a pageant....hate the thought......I merely think some woman embody the spirit and joie de vivre of Abby Winters....those qualities include various factors and dont fall into any one "type" or look...its a diverse and merry set of women that make you (us) maintain a subscription to be surprised and to anticipate future releases of their work....you know the other shoots are fine and good but there are some stars that just blow your socks off......not for you to judge for me or me to judge for you...but is fun to compare notes and share some mutual admiration for impressive women!
