Beth Tweddle, Eugenie Bouchard and all women in sport deserve better

It does seem the AW forums are more female friendly than Sky Sport twitter follower.
Sleezballs like that seem to stretch across all aspects of the media these days. They're sickos ! so quick to humiliate, hiding behind the anonymity of the web. They must find a way to monitor those tweets !!

Doing such a Q&A via an unmoderated medium is asking for trouble yeah. Still it's worthwhile to consider that this thread is title 'Sexy tennis players', so it's partly guilty of the same issue mentioned above

It is totally guilty of the same issue of not concentrating on the skills of the sports person but the sexiness of the woman and it seems I am a serial offender based on the number of posts. But I suppose this is a porn site not a sports site so it has to be expected. But at less we are positive with our appreciation of the sports women unlike the unmoderated so called sports fans of sky sport.

I think it is only natural to apreciate the beauty of a female athlete, and like pinky said very positive here, nothing about lacking skill and being only a pretty face blahh blahh

but like an actress or anyone with a job that is in the public eye these kind of things will always happen, but in true AW fasion we have managed to keep it reasonably clean and very positive, so I see no harm

My thread is not sexist at all! I said in my OP that if anyone wished to nominate any male tennis players who they like, they are perfectly at liberty to do so.
At Queen's Club last year, the Bulgarian player Dimitrov attracted a crowd of about two dozen young women, excitedly cheering every point he won. I very much doubt that his style of play was their primary interest!

Eugenie is stille active, eventhought she lost in Roland Garros. But she is still the sexiest and nicest female tennis player.

My two favorite underdog players in recent years have been Camila Giorgi and Danila Gavrilova. I discovered both of these women watching late night matches at the Australian Open several years ago. Both are such intense players in their own way. Camila is quiet and hits with tremendous power, fearlessly going for her shots. Danila has a ferociousness that defies her size, wears her emotions on her sleeve and leaves it all out on the court.

My favorite of the big name players is Caroline Wozniacki. I think she may be the best shot maker on the women's tour, unfortunately at times I think she gets overpowered by some of the power players.

Too late for Caroline, she got married last week-end with Davis Lee

Hopefully David will be a better match for her than Rory McIlroy. Every time I see him I still feel a little ticked off at him for jilting her (though of course I have no idea what happened).

I know this thread is old, but how about Simona Halep ? She won wimbledon this year!
Also Sorana Cirstea, I saw her playing in her home city back in 2008.

Alison Van Uytvanck and Greet Minnen might very well welcome here as well

Having pulled off one of the greatest wins of her career a year ago at Wimbledon - storming past defending champion Garbine Muguruza to reach the third round - Alison Van Uytvanck headed straight for her partner.
