    Discourse Menu on Members area not showing latest posts

    As the title suggests the Discourse Menu in the members area is not showing the latest up to date posts, only when selecting the "visit discussion boards" icon do I then get to see the latest forum posts from other members.

    In additon to this since the latest Firefox update, when I select the "visit discussion boards" icon I have to login in everytime I start a new session, I enter my login name and password, click on "remember me" but when I turn my pc off and next use it, I have to login in again if I wish to post replies etc.

    Windows 7 with all latest updates running Firefox version 55.0.3

    Same issues here. I'm using Chrome, but "remember me" hasn't kept me logged in to the boards for a while.

      Two separate issues;

      Discourse box: being looked into by web team

      Remember not working: make sure that the page you're trying to login on/via has a link starting with https (esp. the 's') , if there is neither http: or https: in front of the url you need to put https:// in front of it yourself. We're looking into how you could end up on a not-https link, but the work-around with using https yourself should work. Let me know if it does or does not

        Thanks Frans, putting https:// in front of the forum link seems to have sorted the problem out (ie it remembered my login today), of course if I see any more problems I'll let you know.

          Discourse box/widget on memberpage has been fixed and is now up-to-date.

          The forum links should now all be with https:// in front, if remembering logins still fails the above mentioned work-around ought to fix it.

            HTTPS fixes login persistence problem. Automatic redirect from http to https is not happening, at least not on Firefox 55.0.3 (64-bit) with a bazillion extensions.

              It's not supposed to happen. You're not supposed to get a not-https link. There is an issue if you go via the aw main site community->discussion link which ends up on a not https login page. Easiest to avoid this is to just bookmark https://forums.abbywinters.com/vbulletin/ and go there to login (take care to include the trailing slash)

              We will fix the 'community->discussion link' route, working on it.
