Yes, Valerie, let me join the hordes of people wishing you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I hope it'll be filled with joy and love.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to check in as regularly, my former employer has asked me to return, they apparently have a huge backlog- I've been gone 56 weeks- you'd think all of those sharp people would have found better ways of dealing with things- oh well, they waved money and I'm easily tempted, but hopefully a month ought to do it- God, I'll miss the goodness that is you. Take care and enjoy! XOXOXO

Oh my GOODNESS!
I didn't realise there were so many people on the boards, much less reading my thread! Thanks doinel for leading the pack. You know I love reading the stuff in foreign languages! Stoneyyy, Goeman, TowelBoy, what can i say? Seems like the whole Standard is here, even Artlover and casgrain (salut!) have come for a piece of cake! Good thing I've got more than one. Thanks for the cakes, the cute pictures and smilies...overdale we'll miss you! Emma I'll see you tomorrow night?
Mr Val drove me in to work this morning and I even got a crumpet for breakfast. Now that's nice. Here at work I got an e-card, Jo has given me some M&Ms (Abby keeps hers locked away) and I'll be going out with Mr Val's family Sunday night. my mum-in-law got me a musical jewelry box. I put what little jewelry I have in there, and it's lovely. It plays Beethoven's Fur Elise. Lovely, just gorgeous.
Dafydd - ? hahahaha
PS there's many hours left in the day, so don't any other lurkers be shy now.

Happy Birthday, dear Val!!! I just got back into town and I'm so glad I'm not late with my wishes. You're such a wonderful person and I wish you all the very best. And look at all these darling people who love you! Cards and cakes and well wishes...such a lovely celebration and highly deserved. I see that no one has brought decorations yet...let's see what we can do about that...

I wasn't there for the party but my Mom and Dad reported to me that she absolutely LOVED!!! it ... she was taking it around the room and opening it up to play the song for everyone. I can't tell you how much happiness I get from being around those two little girls. It's too bad they're in New York but then again, I envy them a little bit for being raised in The Big Apple.
Anyway, that's my goodness story about music boxes as gifts. In Matsushima Japan, there is a place called the Orgel Museum where they have a collection of music boxes large and small. I toured it with my Melbourne flatmate and was amazed. I picked up a few items for the girls in their gift shop, some cute dolls with small wind up boxes inside (one played "Over the Rainbow" and the other "Mozart's Lullaby")
Hmmm ... I think that's enough babbling from me. Happy day after the b-day, Val!

Hi lovely!
Originally posted by valerieRainbow...wow, men with longer hair, it just speaks of a Samsonite confidence. I used to have this MAJOR thing for longer hair on men and when you mentioned it just now I sorta got a little buzz...
(snip)
...ah verity. She's the sort of person with whom you always think you're her "special" friend, like you somehow got to know a very secret unique part of her. Shoulda kept that bit of hair!
You made my day with your remark about men with long hair. I have dark brown, curly hair which goes down to my waist when wet. Its cool, but last week at the psy trance Boom festival in Portugal I neglected to comb it for 6 days while swimming in a lake daily, and I had to comb it for a solid 70 minutes in the shower with half a bottle of conditioner to get the knots out! Do you also like beards? Well, I would be willing to trim it for a lovely godess like you. I am about 30 years old and married to a beautiful girl in an open relationship. So, please don't take offense, but if you are ever in Latin America we would be thrilled to give you a guided tour. You are also welcome to stay at our flat.
Keep up the good work! If I had a job at AbbyWinters.com I'ld never leave. Porn with soul, I never thought I'ld see the day!

Still going. It's more of a festival, really.
hello ragnoid! Long hair mmmmm...Latin America always sounds so beautiful, I'm honoured that you've thought of me. However, first you have to let me know: would I be able to survive without eating, in any way, tomatos, potatos, peppers, or chilies? I'm allergic to all those and thought that therefore Latin America was more or less off limits. What do you think?
dacooper, never to late mate! Thanks

Hey Emma! Pleasure to hear from you darling Walter, your wishes are appreciated because they signal that the Festival of My Birthday is still alive. Thanks buddy! Dacooper, yeah i trim now and then, as the Bush is a Big Bush when it's grown out and it can be a bit much at times. Good eye for noticing, you're the first! Gold star for you!
Hi Luiggi! I've never been to Peru, but you're very flattering!
Also, I was helping fallon with a stripey top to prove she does wear vertical stripes, and I tried it on myself, both as a top (check out my hot undies!)

Dude, whatever, you TOTALLY look better in it! I'm just honoured to own something you have worn! I hope it doesn't burst one day ... unless there's a camera around. Hey it was fun to exchange clothes like that
